Was a very fun game until I got to the Beneath earth and dust quest where the game bugged and wouldn’t let me continue, contacted discord support to just be asked questions with no fix until I sent another message where I was basically told to find the debug command myself, it’s a shame that the support wasn’t there, really enjoyed the game otherwise but was not able to continue story line due to this bug

I'v finished the main questline twice as half the achievements were broken on my first.
But top of the class achievement is still broken.
Game is riddled with game breaking bugs, some of which seem to be fixed with the most recent patch.
As of now i would not recommend this game.

Pros:
-cute characters
-fun aesthetic
-great stream-ability
Cons:
-feels overly fetch quest-y
-objectives feel unclear. found myself running about trying to figure out tasks
-cant seem to access important tools early game. I ran across materials with no tool to mine, dig or fish
-slow player movement. i move sooooooo slow. feels like I take forever to walk around the are (which is already small) wish i could run
-no jumping. found myself getting struck behind or between things with a full inventory unable to move stuff
-items were glitching out of existence. Id find a wall paper or blueprint and its no where to be found.
couldnt get a refund so i suppose ill keep playing, maybe ill have a change of heart as i go

This is a nice little cozy game to relax to but I have one complain; I wish you could skip the longer routes. Feels so stupid to stay still for 5 mins or sometimes more just to get from point A to point B..

This game is so fun and relaxing. I love picking people up in my train and making deliveries. There’s so much to do and find. I swear I change my train set up daily. I’m looking forward to progressing with the story and seeing what I unlock next. I’ve been kind of meandering.

A simple and cozy game where you ride between small towns to complete quests, upgrade your train, and complete the story. I enjoyed my time playing, though I do wish that there was a faster way to travel between towns late-game if you don't care about transporting guests and also more incentive to actually take guests between towns. Currently you have little to no interaction with them and your train's decor doesn't matter.

while this games has plenty of small bugs, they don’t make playing the game stressful or annoying, they are mostly funny. i had a great time playing and was sad to see it end. i would highly recommend buying it when on sale and just vibing with the cute animals and train vibes.

So, I'm someone who LOVES fetch quests. I see people mad about too many fetch quests? I buy the game.
I say that to say that I don't mind that this game is all fetch quests. THAT part is part of the reason I bought the game!
I don't recommend this game because the actuality of driving the train around is so BORING. If you want the train to keep moving at a reasonable speed, you need to stay in or close to the engine room. Except the engine room has minimal windows! So you just sit there, staring at the little meter so you know when to feed it coal, because you can only feed it one coal at a time to keep it in the green, and it's just mind-numbing. If I could zone out and look outside more, it'd be better. Or, better yet, there should be progression where I get a better engine that keeps a steady speed as long as I keep the coal reserve stocked. I've said this before about other cozy games, but it feels like I'm perpetually stuck in the beginning of Stardew Valley where I have to hand-water every crop. Please give me sprinklers (better engine), I'm begging. Maybe they do after the 3rd map, but I just completed the second map and I still haven't gotten any engine update. My brain is screaming for release, so I won't keep muscling through for something that might not exist.
The art style is lovely, though the character controls a little slow for my taste. I wish I had a bit more *zoom*, but that's just personal preference.
Tbh the biggest reason I can't recommend this game is the price. I prefer to get atleast a dollar an hour on cozy/after-work games. (Story games are different, if you've got a good story, I'll happily pay more! Looking at you Gris, what a game!)
I think there is some good potential here, but right now the game feels like aesthetics and lacks fun.
