Quite an exciting game in a retro space style with pixel design. I had a nice time on my free evening.

Slightly non-standard tower defense genre. Where the point to defend is in the center and enemies are coming from all sides, and the slight pixelation of the game reminded me of the game Galactica on Dandy.

Simple but exciting arcade game that looks like it came straight from the screens of slot machines.

Oh my god, Captain the Looper is such a thrilling game! As soon as I started playing, I was hooked. It's a wave action-shooter game where you have to protect Earth from aliens, and it's so intense! The gameplay is really challenging but so satisfying when you defeat the waves of enemies.
One of the best parts of the game is the upgradable ship. You can collect power-ups and bonuses to make your ship stronger, faster, and more durable. It's so cool to see your ship evolve and become even more powerful as you progress through the levels.
The environments are also really dynamic and exciting. Each level is set in a different location, and you have to navigate through hazards and challenges while fighting off waves of enemies. And the enemy types are so unique and diverse! Some of them shoot projectiles at you, while others try to ram your ship.

I was kind of bored. The game lacks dynamics. Although everything, of course, is subjective.

This has potential, it's a take on Galaga that could be fun. The problem is there's no stakes, no progression, and it's way too slow-paced. My recommendations to the developer are:
#1 You should right away, like today, add a game speed multiplier. 2x and 3x should be sufficient to make the game feel reasonable.
#2 The game needs progression. The easiest approach would be to have each power up add 5-10% of it's immediate effect as a permanent upgrade.
3: Ultimately the game needs more types of enemies and more power ups to feel like a proper game. But there's a short cut you can take to make it better fast.
3a: Firstly, add a random speed burst to enemies that occasionally causes one to move faster for a second, that will reduce the predictability.
3b: Add a strength coefficient to the power ups. Make bronze, silver and gold versions that are increasingly effective.
I'd imagine you could do all of the above in a day or two, and it would be a good starting point to further improve the game over time.
