Pretty fun rendition of the first ST movie combined with boltgun gameplay. Each map being an open battlefield type map was a neat way to spin it, pretty decent challenge on veteran. The bug levels were also entertaining.

ARE YOU DOING YOUR PART? No you're not if you haven't bought this game. It is the hollow junk food of games. Its plot is weak, the graphics are retro, and it is based on a 1990s cult film. . .AND IT IS AMAZING. God, it is fun. It is perfect for just turning your brain off and get to killing some bugs. The only good bug is a dead bug.

I'm from buenos aires and i say kill em all! Awesome boomer shooter in the starship troopers universe we all love. Id like if they went a little crazier/creative with maybe some new bug enemy designs, same with the guns. But overall I'd say a bit much price wise for the game, I would wait on a sale.

I think this is a really fun game in terms of arcadey and offers replayability when you collect all the secrets the bug missions are fun quite interesting I think what brings this game down is the derpy live action cutscenes without those the game would be great and having Casper actually voice some lines as his character would have been way better.
I think this is as close as I will get to the 2005 fps game my by strangelite that game was just an a whole other level just wish it didn't use the movie scenes or had anything to do with it.

The game is short if you just play it on Trooper difficulty, I found playing on Citizen to be quite a challenge. The bug-killing was also incredibly satisfying and cool. If you love Starship Troopers you'll adore this game. Plus, 100%-ing it is actually a fun little side quest that'll keep you occupied for a bit. 9/10, would love for more ST singleplayer fps games :)
