I should have slept instead of playing this game thru the night. I look forward to play 2Players in couch coop.

Great fusion of two things that I sort of enjoy making something I can't seem to stop playing
Very VERY chaotic.
The controls are straight forward, you really only have 3 actions: pickup/place and kick blocks to make patterns that vanish and give you resources and building structures.
and you can move
that's it!
simultaneously enemies are coming from the left and are trying to steal your glorious trash!
Finding out the little tricks you've got to exploit to get a couple hundred more points is really satisfying. Seems like with 2 competent players (and possibly alone) you could play forever... but it would be pretty hectic.
Huge just one more factor since you might have gotten distracted because you found another potential strategy and forgot to reload a turret

Very good, worth the price.
I started out by simply doing the match 3 thing with the scrap, but I knew at some point the droids would come, so I made a blaster to keep them at bay. this worked for a bit but it was really ineffective. I needed to improve my strategy, and so I did. Over the course of many games I learned more and more about the different blocks, blasters don't shoot if there is an enemy or block directly in front of them, they charge their shot, and then shoot once they do see an enemy in front of them. Autocannons are omni-directional but need ammo, they can shoot through structures. Along with learning about the blocks I learned more about how to use them. I learned that it's best to put your defenses closer to your base since it's faster to travel too, and to make trenches so enemies take longer to reach you. And there are a lot of blocks I haven't gotten that much time to experiment with. I think I could play this game for a lot longer but I have a really important assignment due, but once that's done I might jump right back into this.

You get to play as a gremlin who deprives the rest of the planet of materials because you are a hoarder. Very comedic, but a steep learning curve

Excellent mix of Tetris Attack matching with a tower defense game. Steep learning curve but very rewarding to dive into.

Fascinating game. A mix of tetris and tower defence. Games are relatively short and have that 'just one more go' vibe.

Wario's Woods? More like Scavenger's Scrapyard! Scavenger of Dunomini's a frantic puzzle game where you're inside the puzzling action, climbing through junk that falls from the sky and carrying/kicking it around to match and clear them. Everything you clear gives you resources, but for what? For the waves of enemy robots that come after you! You can build defenses to protect yourself (and your junk as you take damage if an enemy runs off with a block of junk), though you still wanna keep an eye on your board to prevent it from piling up too high with junk (or you'll take damage there too)!
I really love how wild this game feels with having to juggle both tower defense and puzzling, and I also enjoy that you'll eventually encounter junk that has different matching requirements, from matching 3+ Batteries diagonally, to matching 5+ adjacent Gears with at least one of them connected to a power source. It's pretty fun, and you can get technical with chains too (and score more points from such since each type of junk has its own point values, and chaining increases the points earned from matches). I also like the sandbox nature of the game sometimes and how you've got options on how you want to go about things (like using Batteries to power up buildings until they run out of fuel or purchasing a generator instead to not have to worry about Batteries running out of juice). The game has a bit of a learning curve and there are maaaybe a couple "chokepoints" where if you don't have certain equipment by a certain time, you're likely to lose from the enemy spawns by that point, but it's still fun and addicting to keep at it! I do have to mention that currently, if you make it very far into a run, the game'll start to lag and you can kinda survive infinitely if you've played your cards right before then, but it can be tricky to pull off and the game's still cool regardless! (In fact, this might be my favorite Punkcake game! I've logged 15ish hours on the Itch version before this game came to Steam, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!) Lastly, the game does have a co-op and vs mode, though I've only played singleplayer thus far (but I'll update this review when I get around to those modes).
Scavenger of Dunomini's a really neat concept that fans of Wario's Woods or fans of puzzle games and/or tower defenses ought to give a try. It's tricky at first, but it's still an awesome time!

my favorite game of all time is wario's woods, so I'm poisoned in my control reactions. when I try to use the same controls or techniques in this game they didn't work. I realize that's all a me problem, so I'm going to set that aside.
after having played only 15 minutes I could tell the game is really awesome and I actually do recommend it. I know that's not a great or trustworthy seal of approval, but trust me it's really cool. HOWEVER, don't go in expecting it to be just like wario's woods like I did, because it's very very different. I didn't even fully comprehend how I was supposed to get ahead, and I kept trying to do the things I do in WW, which doesn't work. So come at it with fresh thumbs so to speak.

It's an okay game. I was disappointed because I expected more a base building game with match-3, but it's really a frustrating match-3 where you have to setup turrets against enemies while managing the falling blocks.
It's one of those frustrating games where the difficulty is very high and you'll lose a lot, but with a good learning curve, so it's addictive to keep playing even though there's not much more to it in the end. I'd recomend buying it on a sale.
