It's jump king x dark souls and getting steadily improved. There's some things I personally dislike but this game WILL entertain you - if you are strong enough

It’s really nothing like I’ve played before. There is quite a lot of content for a game in early access. I suggest at least trying it while it’s on sale if you’re on the fence about getting it.

I really enjoy playing it with a friend! The combat is surprisingly smooth. The game is difficult, but really fun as well. I never thought there would be enough content for over 10 hours, but right now we’re not even through it. (I’d guess around 15–20 hours if you don’t rush.) Would definitely recommend! Improvements: – In online play, there seem to be some performance issues for the player who joins. – Modding in this game would be awesome, so I’m looking forward to a modding engine like in Jump King.
Such an insanely fun co-op game and unique game overall.
Expected half baked combat mechanics and a relatively short experience but the devs cooked! Great game design, boss battles, fantastic artstyle and charmy animations! Though it pains me theres zero animation blending between the weapon attacks to the idle animation.. While I wish there were more classic jump king platforming sequences, Jump King leans more towards a action adventure rpg this time around. It works great as a bit more of a casual experience and the world is a blast to explore along friends! My only real complaint is that the shield surf mechanic feels pretty underused and that the after a couple hours the servers accumulates some lag. However we seemed to solve it by just quitting to main menu and starting another session. There are some other quite minor unpolished visuals and bugs, but the game is in a surprisingly polished state already. Given It's an early access I assume that they'll get on that sooner or later. With that said I'm looking forward the full release! I'm sure this game will become a hit by then, It's honestly just that good. All the best wishes to the dev team!

This is a good game for fans of soulslikes and difficult platformers, who don't balk at loss of progress. I just don't have the patience for it at the moment.
This game is incredibly good, but whoever designed the Sewers and Bog Shallows was probably named Mr. Fuckoman because some of the areas in there make no sense.

Pros:

The environments are really well made, they can be beautiful, creepy, strange and wonderous which really makes this game feel like a journey.
The platforming is also expertly made to a degree where I really got surprised by the way some areas were made really well made, while other make you want to throw something at the wall.
First game is annoying, this one is actually fun.
Lots of customization options, weapons with varied movesets, armor with different stat ups, super cool.
At times the routes are quick and fun to travel, and other times they are pain in the ass.
One of my favorite things to do in this game was making a 100% sure proof jumps to get to where I need to go faster.
This game has a lot of "This door can't be opened from this side." which I really like, they usually open a shortcut a bit later if you were to fall down at an unfortunate moment.
I love the little skirmishes you can have with enemies in this game, at times you will get overwhelmed by the amount of them at the same time, but if you're quick on your feet, you can use platforms to your advantage to either stack them up for a combo or separate them, there's a bunch of
You can play with your friends, and making a party is super easy. Also I like that you can just meet new players on the fly, another thing I like to do is help players get through areas if they aren't in a party, the several options of multiplayer this game gives you can make for a very fun time.
One of very few games in recent memory that made me want to try another run.
I didn't realize that I beat the final boss when I did, I thought I missed something and went back in several different places, and then I looked at the steam page... This was only Act 1?!?!?! OF HOW MANY?!?! This made me very excited for the future of this game, I seriously fell in love with it, even when I didn't expect it to be that good (To be truthful I thought that I was gonna refund this game after I play a bit, but you see where I am now).

Cons:

Whoever designed Bog Shallows should be locked up somewhere, lose the key. The only thing worth collecting down there is the Odachi (I checked every single part of it myself...) and it's pretty much a guaranteed pick up when you go up anyway. At least the little troll merchant makes fun of the player to not spend too much time in there, which is funny.
I found very few bugs here and there, like the main one I got frustrated most about was your character stuttering, I assume because the game saves your progress at all times.
When joining some random players game, you accept that the enemies you recently killed, will most likely respawn and you have to kill them all over again.
You just have to get good at some parts.

Solid recommendation for people who like Dark Souls, difficult games and old-school platformers.
I never write reviews but this game deserves more attention. I loved Jump King and was definitely sceptical when I first saw this game, but the combat is really fun and the art style change has grown on me. If you're on the fence about it, you should definitely try it out, and if you've never played Jump King but like platformers and souls likes, you'll have fun with this game.

This game is perfect in its simplistic design. - Toilet humour reigns supreme, The game never feels too serious or too sh*tposty, it finds a great balance between the two. - The artstyle adds a soulfull, rich and vibrant atmosphere. - The combat works incredibly with the Jump King system. - Incredible weapon variety, i haven't found one that isn't unique in its own way. most have unique skills which add an extra amount of variety of play. - The music is really catchy, joyful and goofy. Each listen brings a smile to my face. - The game keeps being updated and cared for after launch. - No boss feels samey, the times where they reused enemies i can count on my fingers. The enemy variety is incredible. Thank you devs for bringing me such an amazing game, i really hope it gets more media recognition because it deserves it. [EDIT] I'm proudly announcing this the best game i played in 2025, the Redcrown update added so much, i'm genuinely amazed at the quality of such an underground title
