Minos Station: Escape Room Reviews

Aaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Having got that off my chest this is what I found. The game has multiple areas in which you solve puzzles to find clues to other puzzles or parts that puzzles require. Ultimately you get let out of the area you are in to the next area. There is no sophistication, when you solve a puzzle something just appears out of thin air. The good points are that the graphics are crisp, angular and bright, it has a save feature and it has an inventory. There were no crashes or glitches in the time I played it. The bad points (oh, my aching head, the bad points). Some puzzles are obvious, like sliding tile puzzles. Unfortunately most puzzles are not obvious and appear to have no logical clues to solve them. Several I solved by brute force (there was a word puzzle that was solvable by looking at the nouns and consonants it contained and working out what words would fit). Even after solving them I could still see no clue that would lead to a solution or only part of a clue that made no sense. I finally ended up in the oil pumping area with the bag container code to find. There appears to be a clue of a red arrow, how this clue works is beyond me and I'm not about to enter all 512 possible number combinations to find the solution. At this point I have given up. I've never given up on a game before. This is a first for me. I cannot see what pleasure anyone would get from playing this.

The puzzles in this game are super hard, for anyone that's looking for a challenge. I personally find it frustrating when the puzzles are this hard, but hey, maybe someone is really looking for these kind of mind-boggling challenges. I admit, I wanted to refund this game and the only reason that I didn't was that this is an indie game and I really want to supprot new devs, but... for the general public I don't think these kind of hardcore puzzles are fun. https://youtu.be/eTvWlsf4sg8
