Parasocial perfectly captures the experience of going from “Thanks for the donation!” to “Oh no, they’re in my house.” 10/10—will never trust chat again. 👀

a game with an interesting story and its pretty cool how you can get references to other chilla games if you played them. the game makes you feel like you are the main character and how each choice has meaning

«Chilla’s art» has truly nailed the unsettling feeling of modern online relationships in «Parasocial». This psychological horror game delves into the creepy side of parasocial interactions—where a one-sided bond between fans and influencers becomes dangerously obsessive. You play as an ordinary person who becomes fascinated by a popular streamer, and soon, the line between reality and the virtual world begins to blur. The atmosphere is eerie, with unsettling sound design and visuals that create a tense, claustrophobic feeling throughout. The pacing is excellent, slowly building tension and dread as you uncover strange and disturbing events tied to the streamer. What stands out in «Parasocial» is its use of psychological horror, making you question your own relationship with online media. The narrative is chilling, showing how easily someone can slip into obsession, and the game's minimalist design makes every moment feel incredibly intense. Fans of horror games will appreciate the slow-burn tension, and the payoff is worth it. However, this isn’t your typical jump-scare horror game—it’s a slow, suffocating experience that stays with you long after you finish playing. If you’re looking for a horror game that explores the darker sides of internet culture and obsession, «Parasocial» is a must-play.

Parasocial is an amazing psychological horror, that had me looking over my shoulder every step I took. Even irl when I heard the neighbors moving around loudly, it added to the horrific atmosphere that this game created. The music was amazing, and I loved the cameos that appeared referencing old and new Chillas arts games. The camera motion was clean and smooth to the mouses movements, while it was strange that I could still move the camera while playing games within the game, it both made me on edge, and feel safe at the same time knowing I could always be aware of my surroundings. 9/10. -Atsuki Yoru

Similarly to The Closing Shift, Parasocial is the perfect game to play if you're into horror, but not constant stress-inducing action. Chilla's Art games can have jump scares, but they're not so frequent that I'm clenching my muscles in preparation for a shock the entire time I'm playing. I do feel like the plot of this one got a little convoluted just for the sake of having a "gotcha!" moment, and a lot of decisions that you didn't have control of didn't make sense. Why would you block your best friend without speaking to them first? Why would you even listen to you ex instead of them? That's not to say I didn't enjoy the game, though. I loved the streaming aspect, and it was super cool being back at Chilla's coffee but as a customer this time. Chilla's Art really shines in the life simulator details of its games. I know that's what I find myself enjoying most.
