I really enjoy this game, super surprised that not many people know about it or play it.
It had a semi slow start, but it picks up quickly. I played the demo fist and at first I thought 10 in-game days wouldn't be enough to make a decision on whether to buy it or not, but I was so wrong - it hooked me by day 7. So if you're in doubt, try the demo.
I absolutely love the colours and the theme, I am obsessed with the design of all the buildings and overall look of the game. The mystery aspect is interesting and it makes me want to complete quests and areas in order to discover more about the world and its secrets.
It's calming, cosy and the goals are attainable with the perfect amount of grind.
This is the first farming game where decorating is easy because it doesn't require too many valuable resources and it was actually possible for me to take a day or two to decorate as early as Summer Year 1 and not feel like I am wasting valuable time I could have spent grinding on my farm or in the mines.
The mines layout is also really unique and beautiful.
Also really like that you can change the day length and the option to disable the fishing mini game. You can also change the UI size and zoom.
I highly recommend this game, looking forward to seeing future updates!

Very cute game that I am currently obsessed with. I love that it has Stardew Valley vibes but also offers its own thing, which I really appreciate because in that aspect it does everything right(compared to other games) and scratches that farming sim Stardew itch but at the same time Everholm is its own game and not a complete clone to Stardew, which I also appreciate! Many things about Everholm are different and intriguing and make you want to keep going to see what thing you unlock or find next, including cute animals and monster slaying!!! Yes this game has combat, thank goodness. Yes you can use magic, ranged bow, or melee.
There is definitely work to be done, though. There are some QoL features that are missing and could be implemented still. There are some controls when using certain tools that are still wonky. Like when using a upgraded watering can you cant pivot where you want be watering(Like in Stardew) and it also isn't super accurate. If your mouse is hovered over tile A then sometimes tile B gets water instead. So its better to just use sprinklers when you can obtain them. This is just what I noticed when using an upgraded watering can particuraly. The other tools are pretty spot on though.
The devs are still working on the game and still update it. So that is a good sign, and because of that plus what I said above I definitely recommend the game. Especially if you're looking for something similar to Stardew, which I was, and I found it! Everholm is that game. So get it! Now! lol Or at least get the DEMO to check it out for yourself before buying.
