I would like to play the game, but I can't get it to save, when I try to save it I get a save error, then end of file. Then it closes out. Can anyone help?

It's a cute, VERY SHORT game. Is it worth the 9.99? No, i'd wait for it to go on sale. There isn't much guidance on where to go or what to do but then again you don't really need any since it's a very basic game and you will figure it out on your own easily. I accidently (no guide) started in the hardest area and realized this when the other areas got easier and easier. Wasn't an issue at all but made me chuckle. The story was basic/simple. Not much character development. You can't talk to all of the npc's and there was one chest I couldn't figure out how to get to but it didn't really matter since... the game is VERY EASY. I had no troubles at all. There is no tutorial in the game. You can move with point n click or your arrow keys on computer. Esc or X key opens up menu. To open doors, click on them with cursor. There are no options for key binds that i could see so it's mostly arrow keys and mouse clicking. You couldn't open up all the doors in the game which was kinda sad but not a big deal. The game is very generous with money and healing item drops so you won't really need to stock up on many things via items store. Not sure who or where Darc came from... but he joins the party and well..that's that. Just sorta someone/stranger you automatically pick up towards the beginning of the game. No back story on him. This is a very very very basic game and easy to play/beat so if you are looking for a few hours to kill with no stress, then this is a good game to play. The only bugs i encountered were getting stuck turning corners, had to back up and make a wider turn and sometimes clipping off the pathway and having to go back and make sure i stayed on the right path to advance. Also if you are on a wall,ramparts...the creatures below you will attack you if you are close enough to the edge. Hope this helps for anyone curious or wondering how to do something in the game. It's easy, you will figure it out. only took me 4 -5 hours. You can probably finish it faster.
