Doodle TD Reviews
Tower Defense game with grey scale artwork. Upgrades and unique artwork. Was inspired from dreams by lunatic (co-creator) had about a tower defense game with old school graphics. Unique art choices and a very familiar feel to retro video games.

A bit of a train wreck, but I had fun with it.
I would recommend focusing on the bow and the gatling, not sure if anything else really does much, if any damage. The game certainly doesn't give you any information.
There are two kinds of updates, one costs 100 coins, and in-game experience seems to suggest this one does nothing. The other you buy between levels, and these are odd free, once you place a tower you can upgrade. The bow and gatling seem to get triple shot, not sure about the others, except motor (mortar?) and it's upgrade missile launcher, which goes from one shot that never hits anything to to four shots that never hit anything.
That said, the assets are a kick, apparently hand made, and kooky, and the maps are the same. For all that it seems cheap, it is more fun than a lot of asset flips without any creativity. I have gotten over an hours worthy of fun out of it. If it had saves I would probably finish it, but you have to play start to finish in one try, and my wrists cant handle that. For 99 cents, 70 some odd minutes of fun was worthwhile for me.
