Really enjoy this game. After the tutorial, try doing the puzzle levels next as this teaches you how to lay different buildings to get the most points, which is then helpful for the other game types

Very soothing and calm gameplay, chill music, pleasant graphics, and surprisingly deep strategy needed if you want to get high scores. Two thumbs up!

I was already interested in this game, but seeing the level of sass the devs give in the reviews really put me over the edge. Gotta respect the hustle.

Very interesting puzzle game based in a city-builder or builder surrounding.
You first place your base, an upgradable medieval district, where you could do research of new techs like buildings (houses) or gathering which are represented by card or item decks from which you then place tokens on the map. There are different modes, just for fun, level system or even multiplayer. So far I only played level system which teaches you into the games system and how to achieve new maps with more tech to research or more and interesting challenges to solve. In your first level you only have housing and gathering tech, but each tech could be expanded when reaching a given score. At housing you may gain wells or townhouses for other upgrades, at gathering you possibly gain hunting, wheat fields or cows. The better you place your tokens on the map, the more you score. But that isn't all, there are so far hidden upgrades, like placing 3 gatherers adjent to each other and you gain a fruit farmer which scores additional points for your tech upgrade but also for your tasks to solve the whole map/level you are actually in. There are a lot of hidden upgrades, each with an unique combination of different tokens - three wheat fields and a house turns into a farm - or other combinations. Quite interesting to figure out all possible combinations and finding the possible spare place to realize them on your actual map. You have to place your tokens strategical, otherwise you might not be able to finish the level or would not be able to generate new decks with tokens to place.
Not tested multiplayer, which tells to offer competetive or coop, or free play so far.
The game is demanding and holds you focused for a fun and relaxing game.
Recommended? Yes, if you like puzzle games, finding secrets by combining tokens on the map into an upgrade or achieve new levels. It's not the typical builder game, where you just build your kind of paradise in the wilderness...well, I guess, because the free game may offer some kind of that...
If you can get it on a sale, you can't do anything wrong.
I'm running it on linux system without any issue, so it's Proton approved.

I've had this game for a fair while now. Originally felt like I went through content fairly quickly because I loved it so much. Decided to come back again after several months and am loving the new content. Some how my "48 hours played" feels like so much more and I still have a lot left to challenge.

Oh yes. Puzzle your way through the campaign and the "puzzle terras". I really love these chilled city builders. Fun and relaxing. Find the right spot to set your building. Get a bronze, silver, gold or diamond score when you place it right and combine buildings to morph them into bigger structures. You start with one deck of cards, earn your points to free new buildings from the same deck, earn even more points to upgrade your stronhold and get new decks with even more cards - settle, lumberjack, mine, fish your way up the ladder.
I enjoyed this one.
