This game is a blast. I love managing my own crab colony and strategizing how to defeat the hordes of enemies. The crabs are adorable and the aesthetic and design of the levels are beautiful. I'm also a marine biology nerd so I love reading about all of the creatures. I can't recommend this game enough.

While not necessarily bad, Crab God is unfortunately pretty middling. The game will frequently give you goals (Ritual Stones) that you can't complete with the types of corals/plants in the level. The interface for which fish need which requirements could be much improved, and they could've added an interface for which kinds of coral/plant could be grown where.
Crabs don't prioritize tasks in a reasonable way (plenty of food laying around but only one scavenger crab actively collecting it, plenty of garden tasks all falling to one gardener crab, etc.) Levels just seem to drag on with little tension as you wait to get enough food to go to the next level.
The upgrade crab screen at the end of each level for some reason demands more performance than the actual levels, so you have to sit through a fairly lengthy and laggy sequence for a bunch of upgrades that are, for the most part, pretty middling.
It's not *bad* but I sure wish it were better, since I like the theme a lot!
