Classic Defense Saga is a classical style TD, no save points, no choosing level, restart from scratch when dead.
That makes it similar to "Goblins keep coming" if you liked that game, but there are no random elements and no economy affecting buildings.
Problems with the game:
I haven't been able to find a pause button!! I'm flabbergasted. I must have missed it, right?! A run takes a long time, so you'd better cancel dinner with family.
There are 6 power ups, which you can buy from a shop for rubies. There is however only one item that can affect more than the current wave, namely "a random amount of gold coins 0-77777". How can I prepare for a real run with that info? Come on, that is just evil. xD
I think rubies drops randomly, and in my 3 hours I got 35 rubies. The "Random amount of gold"-item costs 100 rubies. So get ready to do a lot of grinding (like a crazy amount. what if you get sub 1000 gold on your first 3 rubies?).
I also I think that if you quit out instead of die then you lose your rubies, so careful with how you rage and make sure you exit the game properly!
The UI is weird at times and the help screen seems outdated? (i.e. sell tower buttons).
To sum things up:
Some weirdness and quirks, but it's a good lil' TD.
Don't expect to spend too much time with it unless you really love grinding the same levels over and over ad nauseam.
