The novel has it's flaws, especially in the English translation there are errors. Personally I was not the biggest fan of the endings (I loaded saves to get all endings), but I will not go into spoilers here. This novel still absolutely deserves a positive review, there is a lot of potential from the Dev and I am looking forward to new releases from them. The characters had charm, tho the way the game is build up, I feel like "new" characters have less chances to win the readers heart, since they previously went very deep with another, likely already giving their heart away... It would be better to have the character story lines run parralel to each other and not one after another. Once again I am looking forward to new releases from this developer. ^^

You're on a mission to save the water world of Ren and its people by taking on the quest to obtain the legendary Water of Heart. A magical and fantastical tale.
The Story
You, Nanami Mizu Ren, are a student affairs officer in the water world of Ren. Your first mission is to travel to the human world of Rostania and collect “Heart Essence Droplets” to replenish the energy of Ren from collapsing. 🌶️ Spice Level - Low. There is nothing graphic or lewd in the game. Kisses are affectionate and feelings towards each other are wholesome.
Settings, Features & Gameplay
Settings & features include; display options, skip modes, language, text speed, audio controls, voice on or off, and auto speed settings. There are plenty of save slots too. You can go back or rewind parts of the game, skip forward and there is a history log as well. Extras include an unlockable gallery and music tracks. You can hide the hud by pressing H for screencaps. ✨ At first, when you encounter the tutorial at the start of the story, you feel like you're going to need to manage some part of the game, making it sound much more complex. But honestly everything is written into the story with no micromanaging on your part.
The Writing & Translation
This novel on the whole is pretty well done and despite at times odd sentence structure and grammatical errors I could understand the story and enjoy it. One example - when the teacher takes attendance and calls your name she says “Mizu, Ren, Nanami, come here”. The come here part is what is odd. She is not calling you to come see her, just to speak up to say you're in attendance. There are spelling mistakes as well. Sometimes names will be spelt wrong from one frame to another. The principal's name is Director/Principle Asher but sometimes they will call him Director/Principle Archaer by mistake, amongst other names and places being wrong.
The Visuals & Audio
The artwork and music in this game is outstanding. The first thing, besides the art, that drew me in was the music playing on the main menu. A score of instrumental tracks. Some are upbeat and magical, others more ethereal. The novel is not voiced but some ambient sounds are scattered throughout like a door opening, a knock on a door or rain falling. Some of the many, many screencaps I took… https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3438635639 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3438619963 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3438758138 The main sprites are all beautifully illustrated, painted with what looks like watercolors in vibrant hues in contrast to the more washed out backgrounds (when the sprites are the main focus). Otherwise the backgrounds on their own when highlighted are well drawn, vibrantly painted and have lighting effects added in with filters. The faces are also nicely animated.
Overall Experience
My time overall with this game was honestly just a fun time. I really love the artwork and the premise of the story in general. The romances and friendships are all set into the story in this game. You will romance or befriend all four friends in one playthrough. There is no nudity or graphic scenes and the kisses shown are wholesome. I would recommend saving at every choice point before making your choice. There are lots of save slots so no need to worry about running out. Also there are two endings, a good and bad. If you save your choices it is easy to know when to make this decision and reload the game to see both endings. I will say as the main character your personality for the most part is already established. So you do not have any real character development in this game. The main character is very sweet, kind, interested in learning and cares a lot about the friends she makes. So there are a lot of heartfelt moments between the characters. 💖 * I got all the achievements in one playthrough plus reloading one choice point to get the second ending. The game page says 12-15 hours and I will admit I am a fast reader so the game took me about 6 hours.

This game was purchased by me for my personal library. On occasion I share my experiences with the groups I write for to help bring attention to games I’ve personally purchased and wish to give more exposure too.
