For those looking for a new monster taming game to add to their library, this is the one. Yes it's currently still in early access, but being part of the progression to see it's fullest potential reached is exciting! I enjoyed my personal experience, and really looking forward to a story mode and new monsters, and such. Give it a shot.

Good game so far. What's already there is worth the 3 dollarinos, and the developer is going strong. Has a surprising amount of interesting systems like the color variances and grid battlefield.

Fun casual game. Has a slower start but it gets better as your team size grows. There are some great monster designs - excited to see the remaining sprites added in!

This is a great, addictive little game with nice monster designs. I have already got some solid favourites. This is probably the earliest Early Access title I've picked up and I'm excited to watch it grow. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the monster sprites completed. The concept art for the ones I've seen so far is amazing!
So far there's no story that I've noticed. Lots of exploring and unlocking areas. It'll be interesting to see if a plot will be added later, but I am enjoying it as it is right now. If you're fine with that then I recommend giving it a go!
The way 'shinies' work in this game is very unique. I've stumbled on some nice combinations. As a shiny hunter, hunting for different colour palettes is already getting addictive!

What happens when Pokémon, DIgimon and Megaman Battle Network are mixed together and are put into a single game? Pretty much this one!
This short experience overall feels like a conceptual tech-demo, with just enough there to turn it into a couple of enjoyable hours. Character designs are simple yet cute. Environments are flat yet easily navigatable and, especially at the beginning and end, spark brief moments of curiosity and fascination. The systems are functional, from what I can tell, and free of bugs and issues. And surprisingly so, the music is high-quality and quite enjoyable!
Still, there is a lot that leaves me wanting:
I wish the potential chaos that are the thematic dreams were emphasized much more to give this game truly its own character. Likewise, the leveling curve feels off, being too slow at the beginning, yet way too fast at the end - which, especially with largers teams, make the second half trivially easy compared to the first. Lastly, some character designs are unfinished, but as an Early Access this is expected to change.
The tactical aspect of combat is there in principle, but pretty much can be circumvented through classic utilization of elemental weaknesses and sheer brute force. Something in me wishes this combat system involved more active and/or tactical components, like items and moving your characters and anticipating enemy movement to set up attack combos. But for this, a larger grid, perhaps with environmental hazards, would be needed. Maybe let the player character have abilities to intervene in the battlefield, not unlike Might & Magic Heroes I suppose.
But for what it was worth, I had my fun playing this game, and for a few bucks it is no doubt worth it ~ looking forward to more content and patches!
