Okish little horror game. Sadly luck plays a way too big role in it.

I didn't get to the point of havin' the Ex stalk but what I did play was intriguing enough that I played for an hour ish. Will give it another go eventually. Gameplay here: https://youtu.be/JPVGQMh8Xag

I thought the game was ok but could I personally recommend this game to someone? No. And let me explain why. The game is one of those games where you have to get different endings within a house setting that spawns procedurally generated items. You get some back story in the beginning about hiding from an abusive ex and then bam you start the game in your room. You have to: check your phone, do some chores around the house three different times, the ex comes to the house to break in so you have to call the police and wait 15 minutes for the police to arrive, fortify the house in the meantime with locks and wooden panels, wait for him to break in if you want and kill the ex. The problem is that you do this routine almost EVERY DAMN TIME if you want a new ending. There are about 6 different endings to get, with each more ok-ish than the last. If that is your cup of tea, then go for it but I was done after 2 endings. It takes too long to set up and finish the routine to care what ending you're trying to go for. I think the biggest issues are what the other reviewers have stated. The walking is jank, grabbing items is a struggle on its own, and finding the items you need every time the game loads is an adventure on its own since they spawn randomly. This adds to unnecessary padding time and really makes you want to rage quit since you have to spend extra time looking for that tiny lighter you thought was somewhere but now is in another castle. But if you do rage quit, that will actually help you as the achievements has a bug where they get locked after you either die or get an ending so you have to exit the game and jump back in to unlock the achievements again. Put simply, this game is janky, buggy and frankly, one of those game that does not value the player's time for you to want to find more endings.

I tried playing this and the first objectives you're required to do such as picking things up and putting them somewhere... is bugged. Once I pick up said items like the boxes or dishes, I am not given an option to place them down anywhere and I can only carry so many items that the game will not let me do anything else until I have dropped the items... which I cant. its a shame cause I love the idea of the game and the funny easter eggs but theres no way to experience the horror part cause I cant get past the first objective.

Crime Passional is pretty good for what it offers. Left alone you have to protect yourself from your mentally unstable ex-boyfriend by barricading entrances. He will message you through SMS and your responses will lead to a real time reaction. The more mad he is, the more relentless he becomes. Do not ignore the messages. A very simple but unique feature. Theres also a neat minigame on the console in your room, and you can watch funny fails on your computer. Need a break from crazy exes? Watch some Youtube.
