If you've played the original Grapple Dog, this is the sequel you deserve. It maintains all the fun grappling mechanics of the first game while also expanding on it with a new character and unique stage gimmicks. However, if you're new to this franchise, this is a decent place to start...aside from the story as it does follow the first game's plotline rather directly. I personally loved the Luna levels even more than the Pablo levels. Blasting through enemies with her gun was super satisfying. However, the only time I hated using her was when fighting the final boss. It was extremely frustrating how it expected near-perfect precision with the dashes and nowhere to land but a few tiny platforms. Otherwise this was definitely one of the best games I've played this year, and it runs like a dream on the steam deck both in handheld and docked mode.
