This DLC brings the story to as satisfying conclusion. You get a new ability and a navel sequence which was fun. Overall, like the previous episodes, this was enjoyable but I’m not convinced it is worth the full price.

All 3 episodes are recommended. A nice touch to the game and the story about the apple With the powers the rooftops aren't really a problem anymore Some parts don't have checkpoints so it might be frustrating for some players A very nice story

This DLC was clearly so quickly released that it did not recieve the proper finish. There are so many glitches and AI cheats that it becomes a lesson in frustration just to complete the various actions that are a total breeze in the main game. As well, the story is pretty shallow. Not worth buying at all.

Positives: + Super powers are cool! Negatives: - Everything else. - Stupid amounts of soldiers spawning seamingly from no where. - Automatic main weapon swaps you have no control over. - Extra content mostly pointless. - Jefferson is a morron who tells me to bring the fort down and then goes stand where I'm supposed to bring the fort down and dies and you fail because he is a morronic idiot. - Countless deaths because the camera is stuck on some NPC, you'r low in health and can't escape.

I'm glad this crap's done. This is probably the best episode overall. It had some good action and it answered the few main questions you might have. But it also lacked logic in one of those answers, which currently feels like it breaks the entire overlapping story of the franchise. The episode has the best spirit journey, but the worst ability. It looks kind of cool, but it's just so useless and the only use is found in scripted events where you have to use it. The mission variety is the best across all episodes. You'll basically do every type of mission once. The cutscenes were good, but considering that this was supposed to be a conclusion, it felt extremely held back. Things could've been quite extreme and crazy, but instead it was annoyingly grounded, so it felt like normal missions in any AC game. The final thing I'd like to mention is the boss fight. It's fucking terrible. Probably one of the, if not THE worst boss fights I've ever played. It's very simple, while still being annoyingly fiddly. If this DLC was condensed by around 15% and you didn't have to play through the first episodes to really get what's happening here, I'd recommend this. But this isn't very viable, so this DLC, like the other two, will receive a "Not Recommended" from me.

True redemption would be to obtain full list of employee personal details and then use this information to sign them all up to Grinder. Cannot play DLC because server is down but also server has permanent close date in few weeks. It is like being told you cannot kiss your own goat because it is locked up in police evidence room but also police have policy of destroy all live animal in 2 weeks. I should be allowed to kiss my own goat ... dead or alive. Disclaimer... goat is key evidence in my cousin Mo's illegal orgy trial.

DLC verdict: Don't get it OR Get it in the Season Pass OR Get it in the Deluxe Edition Comment: This is the THIRD part of Tyranny of King Washington. As this is the last part of the alternative story I will summarize the whole thing. Overall the abilities are fun and balanced as they drain your health and you need to calculate when to use what. But even with these the fighting is inevitable and becomes grindy. While in the main game you fight smaller groups, you will always have a big bunch coming at you here and it gets repetitive. The third DLC is a bit more polished than the second but it still is buggy and glitchy. The story itself does not take that much time, even with 100% constraints. There are side-missions and chests to collect but these do not add really much to the game. I liked the idea of the story but the poor implementation of mechanics apart from a few moments makes this DLC a sale item and not really worth the full price. You get the BEAR special ability in this DLC and it is set in the New York, it has an Aquila missions and that is always great. But buying this DLC separately is nonsense because you have to buy the other 2 DLCs to make sense of the story. This DLC is part of both the Season Pass and the Deluxe Edition of AC3 so you could possibly get it through there. P.S.: To activate the DLC, write down the CD-key Steam shows you (you cannot copy+paste it), start the game, go to Extras and then to Redeem Code (if it does not work go to uPlay and redeem the code there too), restart the game. The Tyranny of King Washington: The Redemption is the final part of a three episode DLC set alternatively from the base Assassin's Creed III game. In this, you play as Connor, who arrives in New York. This follows the story of episode one and two in that the once good guy Commander George Washington has turned insane after conquering the Apple of Eden and has control over his Patriots. This was a good episode. The story had a satisfying payoff as I felt the pre-planning and the actual execution of the final mission was good. I liked how the ending of the DLC connected some story loopholes from pre-episode one because episode one jumped into the story without a backstory, so this connected the dots. I completed the episodes in 2 hours. Again, I only played the main missions. There are a bunch of irrelevent side missions to do. Also within the context of the DLC, Connor garners more superpower abilities. It wasn't too bad as they are used to complete the objectives in the game. But, this DLC series felt like an episode of Supernatural mixed with history. There were some minor graphical issues with population, etc. Nothing too substantial because the DLC was built with the same AC3 engine and such so it would have the same issues as in the base game. Overall, a good DLC to finish the series. I enjoyed all episodes. The story was very solid and as I mentioned I commend the DLC series for not leaving any loopholes like some story DLCs I have played in the past. I do not recommend it for $9.99 standalone, hence my thumbs down. However, I do recommend it and the DLC series if you do pick up the AC3 Deluxe Edition. 6/10 ---- Thanks for reading my review! The DLC isn't a waste at all if you enjoy alternate reality stories. Without sploiling the story i will say, that from the beginning, when you wake up as the main Indian character, the player shares his bewilderment about the circumstances, and as the story progresses, you slowly adapt to this 'new' reality the way Connor Kenway (Ratohnhake:ton) does, from bewilderment, to confusion, to ok-let's-go-with-the-flow-to-see-what-is-going-on type of acceptance. I played through the first few events until i came to a game-breaking bug that i posted to my channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60Zlcl04Qog&list=UUPekDREgUOTfRjJe2nQXUjw I solved the issue by deleting the savegames for this DLC FROM WITHIN THE DLC menu. Then I restarted the gae and played through everything up to that point and lo and behold, the creation of a new profile after deleting the savegames, solved the issue!! I was able to get to the next trigger point! This alternate reality story is quite enjoyable, and the spirit powers you gain in this alternate reality are very cool, and very useful especially the ability you get from the eagle you encounter during your first (?) spirit-walk. Play it! you'll love it!
