Vegan Rebellion (previously called "Animal vs. Human: Farm at War") is one of the only games I bought with less than two reviews to be even borderline playable. It's in early access and is probably never getting touched again given that it's been over a year since the last update. The game is a horde shooter with some of the absolute worst balancing decisions I've ever seen. Your character moves EXTREMELY slowly, even with numerous speed upgrades, and the enemies are bullet sponges who can eat half a magazine from an Mp5 and not even react. Reload times are also incredibly long and most of the weapons are broken in the sense that they're unusable - there's a sawblade gun that does half the damage of the starting Glock but takes twice as long to reload and has a one-round magazine. The game does have a Vampire Survivors style permanent upgrade system, but that doesn't really help the core problem much. It also has a level-up system which has a lot of upgrades that don't do much: 10% more damage really doesn't make sense in a game where most of the weapons do single-digit damage per shot. With some effort from the developer, this could probably be a pretty okay game, but I wouldn't hold out on that.
