Do you like puzzles? Do you appreciate sardonic nihilistic humor? Yes AND yes? Well what are you waiting for? Buy this game!

I really enjoyed the concept of this game and don't regret buying it, but I just felt it could be so much more than what I got. The mechanic is interesting, and I was really hoping to see it expanded upon and it just wasn't. I also didn't really find the rewards that interesting, and the secrets were kind of always tucked away in the exact same fashion. That being said, I think this genre/developer has promise. If you are interested in a ~4 hour puzzle game that isn't just another of the same thing we've seen a million times over, I do think this is worth playing. And I hope the sequel takes the concept much further and gets more creative with it.

A gentle orienteering game. Explore a slice of fantastical wilderness to find trig points, and triangulate using sight-lines to satisfyingly reveal parts of the map. A balm for the soul, a walking simulator with a purpose and a definitive end. Delightful!

This was a fun game, with an interesting puzzle format. It filled both my needs for puzzles, and for exploration. Not much story (none until the end if you don't find any of the secrets), but the puzzles are all centered around a concept that it teaches in the beginning, and increases the difficulty without adding any new mechanics.

This is a fun, simple, and relaxing environmental puzzle-solving game. It is very easy to pick-up-and play! You learn how to play with the help of in-game clues, so there is no reading or listening to boring tutorials. I love the colors, ambient sound, and overall aesthetic. The puzzles are not too difficult and appropriate for almost all ages and skill levels. There is no story per se, but you can find secrets in each stage that reward you with tidbits of humor and context beyond your immediate surroundings. I'd love to see more content or the idea developed further! I would like to see more evolution in stages and puzzle concepts, however what was accomplished here is extremely polished and feels great every step of the way. Recommended for fans of Portal!

Very relaxing and charming experience. For fans of puzzle games like The Witness and Myst, games that teach you how to play them, but much easier to engage with and play casually.

Cache Grabbers is a nice, short game that lets you relax and unwind after a long day. I've never played a game where triangulation is the primary game mechanic, but this game shows that there is certainly a level of satisfaction with crossing lines and coloring in maps. While the puzzles never quite crossed the "challenging" threshold, they were all interesting enough to keep me playing. There's a little bit of a learning curve when initially figuring out what the game wants you to do, but once you figure out the handful of mechanics it's smooth sailing. In fact, there were many instances where the game had a "designated" way to solve the map, but the mechanics were open enough to allow me to shortcut and avoid needing to mark some towers. I enjoyed the feeling that this gave, it made me feel like I was forging my own solution. I did at some points think that the game was a little too slow, particularly with the map. Every time you mark or draw a line from a tower, it does a pinging effect on said tower. While useful at the beginning when players are still trying to wrap their heads around the mechanics, by the last few levels I just wished that the map would immediately draw the line I wanted. The walk speed also felt a little slow to my tastes, and I ended up walking diagonally everywhere as that gives you a bit of a speed boost. Despite my nitpicks, I quite enjoyed my time with the game. The music is calming, and I liked the voiceover naming all the cache I'm grabbing. Great first outing for Bear Minimum Games, looking forward to seeing what other ideas they come up with.

A great puzzle game works hard to make YOU feel clever for solving it, rather than trying to make you think the creator is clever for making it, and in this game it totally works. I spent a lot of time not necessarily heading straight for the objective, but uncovering a lot of the map and trying to find the most remote places I could triangulate with the barest sliver of tower, striving to solve in ways that may not have been expected. The fact that more often than not I was allowed to do this shows how dedicated the game is to fun and exploring. I really honestly had a blast. I am also rarely one to play a game with headphones if I am not doing multiplayer/chatting at the same time, but the great sound design and especially the chill music made me slap them on and just zone out while I played, getting completely immersed. it's always a good sign when a game leaves you wanting more!

A unique game, to say the least. It is a bit hard to understand and navigate through the game, though I do enjoy the simplicity and secrets. The general feeling and personality of the game is definitely something I enjoy, and is something that Triple A game studios will never be able to achieve. It's a little repetitive, but in a good way. I especially enjoy the "caches" you get at the end. A rubber duck? Hell yeah! All in all, I am quite impressed by the game, especially considering the fact that it has no major bugs day of release. A very good game for a first release. Godspeed, Bear Minimum Games!
