In short, this game play isn't dynamic. I hate how I cannot change the orbiting camera, so it gives me some motion sickness. I loved Sacred Gold 1 and really hoped this would be better, I was wrong.

I imagine many of the positive reviews are driven by nostalgia. This game is terrible _and_ dated. The camera is poorly positioned and the controls feel worse than a Unity asset flip. There appears to be no tutorial and a massive amount of unexplained systems. Very campy, excessive RPG leveling elements that would've been neat in the 90s but are outright clunky in this decade. At times, I feel like I'm playing an MMORPG from the early 2000s, just by myself. The amount of work to install the patches isn't terrible, but absolutely not worth the effort.
It's a shame because it looks like the game has a ton of content, problem is it feels like it was designed by a 14 year old with the opinions and design aesthetics you would expect.

The camera movement is annoying AF, but apart from that the game is lit, solid, and fun!
Even though I roughly played 10 minutes, I enjoyed those 10 minutes. If I had this game back in 2012, or sooner, if it was possible, without internet, I would play the heck out of it 24/7. This is that type of a game with 2000's type of aesthetics which I just love. But again, in this day and age, with so many other distractions, games to 100% Achievement, games to play at least for a few minutes, just so I mentally can check them as "played," and uninstall them that there is no time for this game. I hope one day I will finish all games in my Library and say to myself, "well, it is time to replay some good games that I loved." When that time comes, I will return to this game, so I can play it peacefully, even if I will have the high-end PC.
