Brutal Legend Soundtrack Steam Charts & Stats

While I don't particularly enjoy the game (RTS sections), the soundtrack is pretty decent. It's a 50/50 listen on its own, and I would say that is good enough to deserve the full price, especially if you enjoy the style of music. No masterpieces and few bad tracks. Definitely a pick up if it's on sale.

good game jack blacc is purty cool very funnee although seriously I bought the soundtrack thinking ill get those spicy tracks that are on the car radio such as "Mr.Crowly", "The metal", ect. but instead i got the okay game soundtrack it was during summer sale and I bought it along with 50 other titles so I didnt pay attention to the track list so all in all my bad but i still did not want that soundtrack I wanted the spicy heavy metal songs

The music itself is ok, but not great. There are only 20 tracks and most of the tracks are very short. Despite supposedly being 'Metal', I found most of it to be pretty weak. On a Metal scale, I would rate is as Aluminum. Overall, disappointing given the price tag. You can find better for less. Also, as a point of reference to others, since it is not stated in the store description, the music files are all in MP3 format only.

Every single metalhead should play this game. It's a magnificent piece of art, truly awesome. The music is especially great, you will enjoy it. Even the gameplay is really simply enjoyable. I wish for a sequel, that would be really gud. But seriously, this game is simply awesome. Look at my playtime of this thing, I love it. And I just have to give it a positive review. I have to recommend the soundtrack too. Just buy the whole thing, It's just worth it.

Greetings! A quick DLC review for “Brutal Legend the Soundtrack” the…well, soundtrack for the game of its name. Like many I was hoping for a who’s who of Metal in this DLC and was initially disappointed in that it was just the music created for the game itself. I don’t think I can argue in the world of Youtube that this is truly ‘worth’ your time but I will do my best to argue on behalf of the soundtrack’s quality. Shining Soul of Metal: Okay, this isn’t the 107 amazing songs from the game but just music (mainly instrumental) and was dramatically overshadowed by the songs that made up some of the prime moments. But we still have a decent set of tracks that do have the heart of metal (apart from the last song which feels right at home with modern music). Honestly; I can’t say I’m really surprised when I thought back to how much music was in the game but it does sting a bit to know that this is ‘just’ the music created for the game. It is a shame that this doesn’t include any of the licensed music and for $7 I don’t think I could recommend it; but this goes on sale so often and because I’d love to show Double Fine we hunger for more metal I’m going to recommend this anyway, please buy it send your prayers to the gods of Metal and show them we need more awesome in our lives! Enjoy!

Peter McConnell has done an exceptional job in composing the soundtracks for this game, they really help shape the world you play in and all the tracks fit well with all the "real" songs in the game. Some of the tracks are still imprinted in my brain 10 years later. That's brütal. 12/10 would discover and fall in love with all over again. Metal culture needs more wonderful landmarks in different enterprises, like this. It adds a whole new world of color to us all.

This was a little misleading and I should have read the description before buying it, but it doesn't include the songs you hear in the game. This soundtrack isn't too bad though.

First thing you should know about the DLC: [b] It does not include all the soundtrack you can hear in the game! [/b] You get 20 songs which were made for the game. Anyway it's a good soundtrack, so definitely worth checking out!

The soundtrack's alright, but it's a shame they couldn't get the rights to all 100+ songs from all those awesome bands that you hear in the game.
