Freaky little christmas horror walkthrough, that elfs face is demented. I love the cat in the windowsill ♥️

Short Christmasy horror game with some surprises. Not too scary but still a fun play through.

Boring, tedious, no voice acting, no story, loading screen in small map, good steps sound

This is more like a sideways thumb (neutral) review. September 7th is a horror game that has enough good scares/frightening imagery to justify a purchase IF the game is on sale. It only took me about half an hour to beat so I would not recommend paying full price, I got it for $1.88 on sale and feel like it was worth it for that just for the scares. Some of the translations to English are poor. The gameplay is basically just walk until you encounter the next scary thing, although there are a couple puzzle-ish segments of the game. If you're looking for a quick thrill and some decent jump scares, pick this up when it's on sale. Overall rating 5 out of 10.

Fun short game, very in tune with other EMIKA games which is exactly what I love. Love the bodies strewn around, very Christmasy!

First off, this game has great music and well worth wearing headphones for. Next off the sound design in general for this game really shines. The atmosphere is intense from beginning to end. This is a short horror game, but this works well. I felt uncomfortable the whole time I was playing. Plus the characterisation of the 'game master' was good. You really get a feel of a loathsome character. Good puzzles, and pacing. Recommended.

Some of their games like Father's Day or Find Yourself were real bangers but September 7th would more or less just get a neutral rating from me. There wasn't much background information. The things that were happening were pretty random and there was no connection to their other games. It was loaded with jumpscares. I loved that it had a cat again and the doll was pretty scary. Other than that I can't say it was very good or bad. Just play it when it's on sale, play it for completion. You can never really go wrong with a game from EMIKA GAMES.
