Lovely little game but I really wish it had some tutorials or text somewhere explaining what the icon cards do at the bottom! I figured out one of them but the other one I'm still stumped. Very enjoyable otherwise, and a nice little boardgame-like to spend a chill evening with. If you like Dorfromantik, Islanders, or even boardgames like kingdomino, then you will probably enjoy this too.

A super evolution of Dorfromantik, in a way, a very similar game but with enough unique twists and different style to make it shine on it's own. Introduction of the color system to gain points and vary the quests is great. The big buildings combos are pretty and fun to achieve. The gam does squeeze your puzzling sense just enough to keep engaging. It has issues, however. The biggest one being that the deck of tiles is NOT shuffled, it seems, each time you open up a Quest Reward box to give you new tiles, so as you dig through your pile you might be getting like 20 Train tiles in a row, or like 20 Garden tiles, hugely limiting your options.

Super fun little game to relax to and pass some time. Cute soundtrack, visuals and easy gameplay. Early access so some things may be a little wonky, but very solid overall. The addition of a reference key would be helpful for the symbols in the game, but not the end of the world,

A very promising game for casual play and nice aesthetics. It's still very early alpha but fairly playable and few bugs. Just hope they will implement rails-over-bridge and especially save games soon.

So far so good. A game about stacking tiles together, either by color, by type, or in a specific pattern that turns a handful of tiles into a multi-tile structure. Slightly less brutal than some other entries in the hexagonal strategy builder genre, but still could use some balancing work.

I have played a fair amount of this style of game. I have to say, after 95 minutes playing, this has become one of my new favs, in genre! It requires some patience, strategy, and foresight to be successful. The art is beautiful and the music is very chill and relaxing. Great start on this early access title!

Charming and aesthetically coherent, Tiny Atolls is a great way to spend some relaxing time. The art is great, and the gameplay itself is fairly easy to pick up, despite a tutorial that's fairly bare-bones. It's more or less playable Townscaper with puzzle elements, which is a great thing. My one complaint is the balancing and luck involved; often in the latter states of the game, it seems as if your ability to proceed is dictated more by luck of the draw rather than your own skill. Perhaps adding in a mechanism to discard tiles instead of being forced to place them would rectify this. Overall, for an Early Access game this has a lot of promise and is very much on a path to success. I can't wait to see what the devs come up with next and will definitely be returning.

This game is such a good surprise to me! I'm a big fan of city building games and this one offers an original game concept. The artistic style and universe are also beautiful. I love the way the characters move. Their little jumps are very cute! I also really enjoy board games and I found a bit of that vibe while playing Tiny Atolls. I'm looking forward to a creative mode because I think the game is perfect for it. I highly recommend trying out this game, it could easily keep you entertained for many hours without you even realizing it!
