Short, but lots lots lots better than the original game. There's a story you can dig your teeth into and it feels like a full fledged VN. I will say though, I hope the next outing has a lot more story for us to chew on.

Excellent experience, fun and funny, with wonderful characters. But also of course with some spookiness, gloriously gross visuals and great scares. I loved all the artwork, the music and the voice acting. The gameplay loop was simple but satisfying, and each chapter iterating on the last felt natural and kept it interesting. All top notch stuff. Loved it!

Overall a good game, it manages to stand on its on two feet without being an ecact carbon copy of the first one. This game leans more on the worldbuilding and gameplay side of things, the horror aspect of the game fell a bit flat in my opinion, the game still had it's moments but most of my gametime was spent in a relative calm state and just enjoying the back and forth between the character. The few things that annoyed me were negligible like being jumped by cultist before I even open doors was annoying but managable, my biggest gripe was the games performance, it run poorly which was especially frustrating in any downstairs segment and would randomly crash or blackscreen without rime or reason and I know the game has an option for poor performing laptops but I refuse to believe that my PC is brought to it's knees by a VN about smooching a goat mommy. Anyway enjoyable experience would die a 1000th times again just to show eldritch beings love.

Once again, you will buy this game for the hot cosmic gods and stay for the witty writing and world building. In terms of gameplay mechanics, this game is a leg up from the previous installment. Instead of just trying prepare a room for rituals, you also have to explore a decrepit house looking for items and avoiding threats. Rhok'zan is now the best eldritch goddess in the franchise. The supporting cast is also very strong. The downside is that there is only one goddess to date which might bum some people out who wanted a bigger cast to have a romance with. All-in-all, This game has more mechanics and is more story heavy than the first game. If you like the original Suckers for Love than you would definitely like Date to Die For.

It's sucker for love with a better overarching story and voluptuous goat milfs. Not much else needs to be said. 10/10 game
