I actually really enjoy this game, lol. Yes it's really buggy and has issues like other reviews say, if you can get over that annoying fact you'll really enjoy this game for what it is too.

We got the game knowing that we might be unlucky and loose all the progress as someone mentioned, but honestly, there are so many other problems with the game, that I just can't recommend to buy it, unless you wanna cringe around how bad it is like we did. :D So first of all the controls are so annoying, using the inventory by the 1,2,3,4,5 keys that you have to press lal the time to take or drop items is so bad. Next, the character customization is hella expensive and the game provides no option to try the hair or clothes styles on before the purchase is made, so you have to trust your guts for real. :D The only way we managed to save the game was to copy the name of the lobby and using it as a name of the new server next time. Talking about the bugs, please avoid the guy from the ship, who has a guest for you, his dialogue is unfinished and he makes you stuck with him forever. However, there's still something worse than this guy and that's his ship. If you manage to load your save succesfully after force closing your game after getting stuck and decide to check out his ship like we did, beware of the hole in the floor that makes you fall in, which is literally a death trap, as there is no way to escape. :D Even if you jump around and somehow bug through the walls like we did, there is no way to escape the second floor as the door are locked. The only thing you can do is to wait for the ship to leave (which is in 10-15min intervals) which gets you kicked out by force, thrown into the sea. XD So generally speaking, I'd avoid this game and offer you a much better alternative such as Ale&Tale (medieval pub simulator).
