Artisan TD is a pretty good game! My favourite so far in the genre of standalone Tower Defense games. I wish some of the maps had slightly bigger, more "free" design spaces, but that's about the worst I can hit it with. Otherwise controls and mechanics are obvious and intuitive, music and design are decent, and you can challenge yourself or make things easier as you prefer with a nice selection of difficulty levels.
Good game, would recommend if you miss the heyday of playing Warcraft 3 TFT UMS maps. The only thing missing is for half the towers to be anime and pop culture memes.

Pretty fun TD. My only complaint, it can be quite frustrating to try and 100% everything on nightmare as your first playthrough. There are many knowledge checks. For example, you set up your arrow tower directly in the middle between the start and the end points, but randomly on level 8 a flyer will swing out way wide and you leak so you have to restart the level and build a tower over there. A bit cheesy in that regard, but otherwise fun.

A truly superbly crafted TD game. I am sick of games trying to add 'new twists' to this genre, to the point they're barely recognisable as a TD game. This is a true, classic TD game. I have played them all and this is outstanding. If you love going back to the drawing board to re-strategize and try again to get that perfect score, this is the game for you. Really gets you thinking. 10/10

I love TD's.
I'd say this is a very good TD.
I've only been playing nightmare difficulty & the game gives a very good challenge. Some maps are very difficult to get a flawless win on.
If you like TD games then this will provide a lot of playability, assuming you want to try knock out the achievements at least.
I'd say it's probably one of the best TD games I've played on steam tbh.

Rarely have I spend this much time on a tower defence game.
I played bloons, kingdom rush, plants vs zombies but this one beats them all for me hands down.
Heavily underrated. I looked this game up on reddit and the sub for it had 21 members, this game deserves a lot better.
it's true that some waves seem to have a very specific solution but finding that solution is fun for me.
no microtransactions, no AAA gaming bullshit. Just a simple concept and a very decent game.
The only negative for me is that you cant just delete your progress and restart the game. I had to get out of my way to delete the files on my pc and get that to sync with the cloud.
I go trough this levels by difficulty. Starting with adventure to get to know the map a bit, beat veteran after that, go to prince nightmare mode and then finish with nightmare mode itself. Only then I get to the next level.
I really recommend this one and I hope it'll gain more popularity so they make a sequel.
