Really fun and definitely a fun co op game which should also be seen by a lot of other people yes it does come with its bugs but it kind of comes with its charm but even past it its a really fun game to play if you can get past them. And I really want to see what these devs do in the future

Good fun little game! Completed the whole thing in under five hours, and that including some technical difficulties, and then replaying the whole thing at the end to try to collect more audio logs.
The game's fundamental schtick is done well, and makes for some quite interesting puzzles. I would love to see a sequel or DLC.

I was really excited for this game, and am relatively happy with the finished product, but it still feels very unfinished.
I understand that it was a small team who made this game, and honestly that is amazing. However, in it's current state I do not believe it is playable due to the amount of time you may spend having to get around bugs and finding fixes.

I can't recommend this now, or really ever. Even if the bugs were squashed, its still not good. As far as current technical issues go:
- Performs poorly on a 3080 Ti with a Ryzen 9 cpu (my coop partner had the same experience with his gaming pc)
- Room culling rarely works properly, so you'll see through the world very frequently.
- The portals clip player character models, and cause janky transitions between sides (They use render method of painting a wall with a view from a different part of the level, but don't appear to display models half-way through the portal correctly). You also get quick flashes of the outside of the levels while passing through if your camera is at any angle other than orthogonal to the door frame.
Gameplay reasons not to buy this:
- The game's coop and puzzles are very half-baked. The first variety of puzzle is: fire-brigading items across barriers that the other person can't move through. There's just not a lot of thought to it, just "it is your turn to carry the Olympic torch over the orange threshold." The second variety is sharing information with your buddy which will tell him exactly what button to hit. Pretty simple, but at least there is some simple pattern recognition required. Then the third variety: needing to press something at the same time. On the level of LEGO synchronized lever pulling.
- These puzzle mechanics can work, but here's the kicker: The game doesn't develop any particular implementation, dismissing them pretty quickly after using them, and rarely layers them. The two most engaging puzzles only layer two of these: One requires you to relay information and then synchronize lever pulling; the other requires you fire brigade items across barriers and match sequences, then fire brigade items. The final "puzzle" is
a synchronized lever pull. You unlock doors for your buddy by passing the character barriers then one player can sit back until two key items are acquired for the lever pull.
Puzzle game endings can be difficult, but this was really disappointing.
- The non-euclidean parts of the game amount to just wonky level design. Most of the time they are just a wow factor (and probably what is tanking the framerate and causing all of the weird level culling). Anytime they do matter they are statically determined, not controlled by the player characters, and just mask players' views from the puzzle solution to require that the other player take part in the information exchange puzzle variety. There's nothing you couldn't do in this game that you couldn't do with normal level design, where a game like Portal depends on the mechanic. Its main reason for being in this game is that it is relevant due to the plot.
There's also a story. I listened to it because I had a friend who voice acted in this. One or two voice logs in you can map out every plot point in your head.
The game can be completed in about an hour to a hour and a half. I won't be getting my $8.50 back however, because the game was bugged at launch and caused me and my friend to enter a fugue state for 20 minutes, one synced lever pull from completing the game. Then we played it again for the voice actor friend in less than an hour.
For 8.50, you could do worse and you could do better. I hope they take some lessons from this endeavor and hone their craft a lot more before releasing another game. This needed a serious QA pass, and desperately needs a more interesting puzzle experience.
