amazing game to play with real guitar and learn a lot of songs

Do not get rocksmith 2014! You get the most barebones lessons and ubisoft basically got rid of most of the launch songs and turned them into dlcs. Your best bet is to save that money to get actual lessons or just use youtube at this point. Rocksmith+ is even more of a scam.

Good, BUT ONLY GET IF YOU WANT TO MOD IN SONGS There are ZERO of the songs that you want to play If you are ready and willing to download music onto the game, get it It's great as long as you have the ability to mod in songs.

always remembering me that i suck. Outstanding learning tool and help for you to get that scared feeling away, but careful because can be a crutch for you that REALLY want to play the instrument outside of the game. keep your practice at point and use the game for hobbies only.

i recommend it with CDLC from ignition and the no cable mod if you dont want to use the RS cable thats like 40 bucks on amazon. i cant recommend rocksmith plus though, like 20-30 a month for a game thats already out, yeah, its getting new music all the time but after a year thats like 130-150 a year for a fucking game.

It is really horrible what Ubisoft did to this game. It used to be fantastic. Now they've pulled all the song files, replaced them with soulless exercises that don't scale correctly (hammer-on practice that has all the hammers removed for example) and make you buy dlc if you want music. They also removed songs I and already and you can no longer import rocksmith 1 music. It's worth nothing unless you've already got lots of DLC. Rocksmith+ is much much worse. An obvious cash grab. No music comes with it and the interface no longer has the rocksmith feel and instead is a cheezy "learn to play" layer over youtube. Really sad. I hate Ubisoft for doing this.

Remember, if you were in the old "Just in case we need it" Beta, do not swap out or launch the game while in online mode on Steam. If you do, all the base songs(which are not many) will turn into DLCs, making the base game essentially empty besides the practice tracks. I really cannot recommend this Version right now, unless there are ways to downgrade it.

I love when I look online for songs I want to learn to see that fucking stupid cart logo for a paid DLC and then going to the steam page to discover the DLC is no longer purchasable. Big fucking brain Ubisoft Game is fun to learn guitar, wish another team developed it.

ubisoft you spiteful bastards. delisting the one dlc that kept your game alive is beyond wild.

It may say that I've played for 100 hours but that was all spent troubleshooting... great job ubisoft
