I see the vision in which they are trying to complete but, as others have said, its not even ready for early access yet. The controls are very janky for controller support, the AI are brain-dead dumb they walk right by you and dont even shoot you... You spawn in with like 20 rounds of ammo... enough to take out like 2 or 3 guys, then you have to look for more ammo which is insanely scarce... It could also be better optimized for all platforms as well... Running it on the ROG Ally X, im stuck at medium to low settings on 720p... I would wait a good while until this is updated a lot more to consider early access.. It's a good vision, just not there yet at all

I hope this game does get completed, but right now I will be asking for refund. It definitely has that WWI horror vibe but is too janky right now to be played.

It's interesting, I'm a huge fan of dark war type games so this definitely hit right up my alley.
It 100% feels pretty rough around the edges right now, though given that their homepage says the game is mostly made as a solo passion project it's really well made for what it is.
The Customization, general atmosphere, and some of the map design with destroy-able cover/explode-able artillery shells are actually really well made and are the game's biggest strengths overall.
However, it definitely needs more time in the oven. Combat itself is great but it feels like sometimes it is missing some variety (though as of writing this I only played for an hour so maybe I'll eat my words)
Melee combat with the shovel however is kinda EHHHH and just need a lot more time to cook.
There were a few times where I ran into some placeholder assets, such as a certain flooded underground section towards the beginning of the game which was un-textured. (Though I assume that'll be fixed with time)
If you're thinking of buying the game, it's good. I personally suggest giving it a try. However, This is very EARLY EARLY access. Like extremely early. While I didn't find any super major bugs or soft locks it's very clearly unfinished and needs some time.
Other than that I think it's worth a good shot.

Heavy potential here:
Excellent and unique atmosphere
Excellent characters models
Current issues:
Controller support (Xbox) and sensitivity issues I find my character unable to steady themselves making the game near impossible to play. Even after attempting to change the sensitivity.
Due to the high potential I do jump in and out seeing if there are improvements and follow the updates. Haven't been excited for the general atmosphere of the game since The Forever Winter.

Another game i wish i could give a neutral review too at this time. Plays well on my machine, it does have its faults (sounds coming from odd locations, weird mob agro, physical assets appearing to not be fully connected to the game world) I like the models for the enemies and combat is interesting. Good work from a solo dev. The game has good bones, it just needs to cook longer

the amount of potential in this game is astronomical in my opinion. it is very early access though so it's incredibly janky, but if the devs stay with this game i think it could be award winning.

I used to be able to play this game. Even with its flaws it was a game I liked it. Now with the almost daily updates I cannot run this game above 5 fps. I don't know what the creator did to make this game so un-optimized but here we are. I'll delete this review once this gets fixed, if it does.

Refunded - I get it, it's early access and made by a solo dev, but this game is NOT ready for EA, it's more a VERY VERY early Alpha build, if anything. It's a hot mess with placeholder assets, janky controls, and just extremely unpolished all around.
The vision and foundation are there, but that's it.
I would gladly return when this game releases in 1.0 in a distant future, and give it another go

Legitimately cool game, with some fun concepts and an awesome aesthetic.
Fair Warning, in it's current state, don't expect this game to heavily play into being a souls like or a horror game. I think there were two times I was legitimately spooked in the whole game.
What this game however currently excels at is being a great exploration shooter with destructible environments, as well as being a bit of a reverse horror game, because among this entire war torn land, multiple armies fighting for control and power, literally raising their dead to continue fighting, you casually walk trench to trench slaughtering everything in your way. Through mortar fire and all, if your trigger finger is good, YOU ARE THE MONSTER.
Personally, I'd like to see more face and body options appearing from offerings, I mean I got prolly 10 different helmets in my playthrough, but by comparison I got one mask and only one or two torso pieces.
All in all I'd say it's a really cool experience, and I can't wait to see it fleshed out properly with time.
Oh and watch out for the landmines.
