cute! super nostalgic with a great art style. if you care about story, it's uncomplicated but builds the world nicely. sugar plumps is just so sweet it pained me to burn the letters!! if you don't care about story, it's really fun just burning all the different items and figuring out combos

Although a relatively short experience (You can complete the game in around 5 hours), the game is incredibly simple and fun to play. Child Safe Arson simulator has never been better.

An excellent, fun little game that allowed you to burn all sorts of zany items. You will make money as you burn what you order to get even more items. As you progress, you will receive letters from a few fun characters that bring life to the world and immerse you further. Soft, serene music calms you as you light things aflame. The cozy atmosphere adds a lot to the overall experience. Sit down for a while and just burn things! This is a fantastic experience that is perfect for calming you down and putting you at ease. A must play!

Wilx100% (Dec 22, 2024) - Fun game where I get to burn anything I want. Watched someone play it as a kid, and it's been etched into my head ever since. Now, as an adult, I was able to actually buy it after accidentally coming across it again, felt nice to relive that part of my childhood. I would rate this game a 7.1/10.

𝝑⋆₊˚⊹♡⋆౨ৎ˚. This game is quite literally a part of my childhood, so I’ll admit— my opinion is a little biased. Still, I can’t help but adore it. There was something oddly satisfying about setting things on fire, and the animation gave the whole experience a strangely soothing atmosphere. It’s really relaxing. Beyond the visuals and mechanics, the game carries a deeper meaning and wraps up with a heartfelt, thoughtful ending. I don’t have a lot to say— but what I do feel is strong affection. This game means a lot to me. Lots and lots of hugs!

Absolute Cinema. One of the most creative games I have ever played. It's quick, fun, and has an extremely captivating and I'd argue oddly deep story compared to what you would expect. It is one of those stories where you find the 2 hour long video essay titled "Little Inferno's Captivating Critique on Consumerism" or something like that and then the video ends with "nah the game is probably just about burning some stuff, ok bye". Tomorrow Corporation deserves all the support they get and more with these truly unique and unforgettable games. DLC is neat but the base game is far supeior.

I initially played and beat this game back around 2019, and I just decided to replay it again on a whim...well, that, and to collect all of the Achievements that had been added to the game since then. My old save file had been preserved, but the achievements weren't unlocked based on that, so I ended up starting a whole new save file...which was honestly alright with me, since it's roughly just a four-hour-long experience and I had the whole day free. It could've been just three, but unfortunately, the game crashed quite a few times while playing; I don't blame the game itself, as I admittedly had a few intensive programs running in the background for personal reasons, but I am a tad upset that if the game crashes after placing an object, the object disappears and you can't get the money from burning it. Thankfully I have pattern recognition and made sure to quit and load back in to trigger an autosave before buying any of the major items out of fear of bankrupting myself... ...Oh dear, I've gone a whole paragraph without actually describing the game itself, haven't I? Well then, Little Inferno is a comical idling/puzzle game by Tomorrow Corporation, the people behind World of Goo and Human Resource Machine. The gameplay loop is simple: you light things on fire, which generates coins, which you use to buy more things to light on fire. If you accidentally run out of coins, some cartoon spiders appear, which you can squish for some quick spare change; rest assured that there are no microtransactions for more in-game currency. The puzzle element is the "Combo" system, where burning certain items together counts as a combo and rewards stamps to speed up the item delivery timers, as well as progress to unlocking the next catalogue of burnable items. And surrounding all of this is Tomorrow Corporation's unique aesthetic style, which comes across in both the absurd visuals and a story that's equal parts entertaining and existentially grim. It's fun, it's charming, and I liked it enough to play through twice (and then a third time for the Holiday DLC). It's Little Inferno, it's Little Inferno, and it's not just for me; I feel as though I can safely recommend this to others as well, so long as you're fine with gameplay that lacks fast-paced action, or hammers, or bazookas. There's lots of explosions, at least!
