As it stands right now I can not recommend this game even though I would like to. There is a rather MAJOR glitch that has cards falling through the table.
In the attached screenshot I have the 5 of Hearts, 10 and 6 of spades, and the Jack of Diamonds all missing off the table but I have a complete game button that worked when I clicked it. The missing cards came flying out from under the draw pile location as if they were under the table just out of sight.
While I do like the game I can not tell people to buy it when there is a good chance you will get an unbeatable hand because cards just disappear into nothingness.

I really only have one small complaint about the game and that's that the auto-complete function (you click on a card and it goes where it can) sometimes causes you to gain an extra move. The priority is going in the stacks, so if you flip a card and it is a 5 of hearts and you have your 4 of hearts stacked it will go there, even if you wanted it to go on your six of spades to move your 4 of clubs on to it. You can move it after manually or move it manually the first time, so not a big deal unless you are interested in winning games with as few moves as possible.
The other thing I would like is other types of solitare; spider, etc.
Besides that the game is great. If you like solitaire and noir music, then this is for you!
9/10.

This is a classic solitaire game set in a very typical detective movie environment, so while the phone doesn't ring I'm playing solitaire, elementary my dear!

It's a solitaire game with noir detective vibes, simple as that.
This game has a few bugs already, I'll edit the list as I go:
-random hearts cards will display as diamonds, so it looks like you have two 3 of diamonds when one of them is really a 3 of hearts (happened with several cards repeatedly)
-the win streak counter never resets after the first streak ends (my streak is stuck at two even though I've since won five in a row)
-there's no way to quit the game or go to the menu after winning, you have to start a new game then exit which ruins your win streak
A few things I'd add (if the developers are up for it):
-different Solitaire types (spider, free cell, pyramid, etc.)
-add a few background tracks for variety
-add changeable weather effects like rain on/off, thunder, etc.
-changeable card backs
-interactive elements on the desk (this would be cool but the vibe is already great)

What a charming game! Such a simple concept but it works so well. Slow jazz, the sound of rain, and the sound of cards while playing solitaire is so satisfying. Never thought I'd love themed solitaire so much, but here we are :D . Can't wait to see what else Blue Mushroom makes.

Hogs energy - what's it doing? There aren't any animations worth a darn, but my PC heats up when I run it. Can't adjust brightness -it's so dim that it's not clear which color/shape your looking at. Camera is at a fixed point - simple but doesn't help when trying to see the whole table. Music starts playing on startup even if volume is set to zero. But mainly I'm annoyed about how much energy it uses.

fun little solitaire game, although it lacks a lot of quality of life stuff that id prefer, such as being able to restart a specific game instead of starting a completely new one. also wish there was more than a single card draw version, im more used to 3 card draw solitaire. the biggest draw is the atmosphere which is really nice, feels like youre a 1940s detective playing while youre thinking about a case youre trying to solve. is fun, even if it could use some more features

Would I recommend this to anyone? Yes, but with some information up front.
It's Noir so it's already well within my interest, and I like playing cards, so that helps too. It's also dirt cheap!
In its current state, I find it a relaxing game to play after a busy work day, but there are some things to remember: There is a glitch where several of the heart cards are labeled as diamonds so it can be rather confusing (one solution is for you to double click on the suspect card to let the game autoplace it correctly (but still can be frustrating if you worked your way up to that six of "diamonds" only to find its really hearts!)); there is only one office setting and only one musical track, which in of itself isn't offensive but can become background radiation real quick.
I would love to see additional office backdrops, more musical variety (ranging from what one would expect from a 1940's noir movie, to maybe something hard like AdvertCity,) more weather effects (like torrential, angelic tears from seeing man's sins tier of rain) perhaps more game styles, and more card variety implemented into this game! Speaking of, If I had designed this I would lean very hard into the aesthetic and make unique cards for this game! Like all the court cards are detectives, and the numbered cards are clues they would typically find. Or maybe put the posters of famous and otherwise noteworthy noir movies on all the cards.
Either way, I'm happy that I purchased this game as it is, but I can see its potential for something even greater, better than what it is.
Should you try it? It's only $1.99 USD, so I say what will you lose by doing it?

It looked like a promising fun game of solitaire but it has a lot of bugs. The graphics are very unclear. You have to look really hard to see the difference between cards. I also have heart cards display as diamond cards. The idea is cool but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
