This software is my go-to for procedural and quick material creation, for that purpose it is amazing, HOWEVER!
If you are about to purchase this because of PROCEDURAL MODELING advertised on front page, DO NOT!
Learn Houdini or Blender Geometry Nodes instead.
They have seemingly dropped support for procedural modeling in all silence and haven't updated their store page. No idea when that happened. When I start my version of Substance Designer 2023 now, I don't have option to create "Substance Model Graph".

one of if not the best software for making textures, this being a perpetual license is awesome and is one of the few remaining somewhat affordable perpetual license when it comes to 3D related software so definitely a must pick up in my eyes

This software makes me feel like a complete idiot in the best way. Hard to get into it as a complete beginner. Adobe ships Designer with several helpful tutorials, but they are mostly out of date which can make it frustrating. Its difficult when the tutorial you are following is from the 2017 version.

Now I can create my own procedural textures to add to the hand I created in zbrush and posed in a special gesture just for adobe to express to them what I think of them.
No prizes for guessing what the gesture is.
For that purpose, the software is very good.
