SHORT: Only buy this game if you're just a huge fan of Trolls and don't care about gameplay problems.
WITH SPOILERS
This is a game with a lot of potential, the graphics look pretty nice and the designs look perfect, and i can say the story is kind of interesting. That's all the pros i can say about this game.
The game lacks of sound effects, there's one single music track for each land, making you get bored and tired of the same track playing over and over again. The camera movement isn't comfortable and you don't have any settings at all to control your sensitivity, your graphics, accessibility, etc, only settings for the sound of the game, the game itself feels pretty slow, the world is huge and your character isnt fast at all. I feel like there's a lack of tutorial in this game since they only explain the main controls and the abilities you collect, you don't learn about the use of items and currency, you have to learn all of that by yourself.
The healing ability is a good way to heal, however, i don't like how the only way to see your "energy" is by pressing the healing button, would've been more comfortable if the "energy" and health icon was on the screen all the time because your energy needs to be fully charged to heal one single hp, thing that is annoying if you're missing 2 pixels of charging and end up wasting your energy and having to wait again to try to recover, this also happens with other abilities like construction where you use your energy to build your path, the problem comes when you just healed and then you find a construction glow 2 seconds later, forcing you to wait for your energy to recover with no monsters around, and again, without knowing how charged your energy is. The hairjitsu ability sometimes is a little bugged, not allowing you to hit the buttons you need to hit to continue until you hit it at a specific angle or distance.
The character customization is a very alright aspect of the game, but there's some problems with it, like the character having a floating pose when you're customizing his clothes, making it harder to choose your clothes, you need to have the character standing to be able to see his clothes properly, i dont think a "floating" pose was a good idea for the customization aspect, also, you don't get any notifications when you unlock a Trolls character, you have to save the character from the jazz effect, and then go to the customization closet to see the unlocked character, i would've liked a "You can now play as Poppy, go to the customization closet to play with her" notification after saving them, cuz the game keeps telling you "Hey, you can play this game with your favorite Trolls characters!" but you never know when. I found out i could play as Branch like 3 hours later. All the character look good in this game, except Queen Barb, i think she needed to be worked a little more, her idle pose is pretty weird, and a big ._. expression. When Barracuda is playing, i think you're supposed to see Queen Barb singing and playing her guitar, but she's just with the same expression, not doing anything, i would've loved to see her animated singing Barracuda. This Trolls music in game also happens with Back Up Again, where you hear Poppy singing, but Poppy isnt even on screen, cuz at that point of the game you haven't noticed that you unlocked her. Could be better if Poppy was runnning with you while singing Back Up Again, cuz the music comes out of nowhere, it surprises you.
Getting the collectables was tough and tiring, i would've liked it you could see the amount of collectables you're missing in each land, because the world is so huge that its just tiring to replay the game to find the collectables you're missing. Some cutscenes are skippable and some cutscenes aren't, making the speedrun achievement more stressful.
Some people complain about Country and Techno not being in game but i dont mind, maybe the budget wasnt enough for another land, so i'll let it pass

I love the Trolls franchise, so the idea of a 3D platformer where you get to make your own troll really interested me. Admittedly I wasn't expecting much, but this game is incredibly rough and buggy. Still, I was able to have some fun with it...that is until it wiped my save data abruptly.
Also, selling a deluxe edition of a game like this seems kinda scummy. I think these characters could have easily been included in the game, which is quite pricey as-is for what it offers, but were taken out of it just so that kids beg their parents to buy their favourite characters from the movies.
