Took about 10 minutes maximum and was so easy. Waste of nearly £3. Not happy at all. Don't bother!!! :(

It's a nice little game and definitely for the fans of the comics...and no one else. The game can be passed through in 10min and in less than one hour by a first time point&click player. Graphics are nice in all their 8-bit glory. Dialogue is warm-hearted and sells the characters well, but in a such of a short game there ain't too much character. The couple of puzzles here are pretty straight forward. All together it's more of a sponsor merch for the fans than something that can be openly recommended for a serious adventure gamer. But as a small piece of fan merch it works. Inoffensive and harmless sums it up pretty well. And cute.

Based in the world of the webcomic Beyond The Western Deep, this game is about two of the main characters, Quinlan and Dakkan who are, unfortunately, on patrol away from home during an important holiday. It isn't long, but the story has a lot of charm and the music is beautiful and soothing. This game shines best if you know a little about the comic so I highly recommend you check it out if this has caught your interest! You can either read it on the site for free or buy the pdf volumes 1 and 2 as dlc with the game (eventually there will be a third but they haven't officially started a kickstarter for it yet). If you enjoy Redwall, you will enjoy Beyond The Western Deep. The writer has also worked on other amazing games that I enjoy very much (Guild Wars, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Armello) so you can expect the same quality of story in Beyond The Western Deep and anything related to it. Beyond The Western Deep is amazing, and the creators are always finding new and inventive ways to flesh out the world and share that with the readers, like this game here. Highly Recommended!!!
