Very interesting and fun. Liked the artistry and clever games. Keep your eye out for numerous morphing items which I missed. Highly recommend.

The premise is nice, but the execution is poor. Game is very short and simple, everything is at hand, hardly any attentiveness is needed. HOGs and puzzles are trivial, and there are very few minigames (in most cases, things fall together automatically, without the need to solve a puzzle or do any effort). No music (only a drone), and many sound effects are missing. Visuals are nice.

I do recommend this game... however, $13.99 is **WAY** too much to spend on a game that you can 100% beat in 2 hours (including bonus content!). Wait for it to go on sale unless you have money to blow on a game that you can beat in 2 hours or less without even trying.
That being said, the gameplay is fun and not too repetitive. I do wish the game had gone further into detail and that we got to play out more storybooks, rather than just the one. I also experienced one crash about 100 minutes into the game and ended up having to totally restart the scene I was on, which was mildly annoying. Overall, this is a good game for anyone who enjoys hidden object games and/or puzzle games. It would also make a great game for kids to play as there are no inappropriate voice lines, references, or images, and you can customize the difficulty to make the game easier or harder.

I had high hopes for this game because Elephant games has released very good series in the past and the concept and story seemed different than usual. But sadly, the "disease" infecting other HOG developers has infected Elephant games as well. As the other devs, the art is superb in these games, just beautiful which is a major motivator for me to buy them. However, this game is not finished and obviously lazily put together. There are places where there should be puzzles and they just animate to finish the scene instead. These games used to have really great music and now all you get is either silence or background ambient noise. They had a character in a scene after the story had him teleport away. There are missing sound effects. Tom Sawyer says he's from St. Petersburg. What the heck?? I think I'm finally done buying these games new. I have a ton of old ones which I'll play or replay. This makes me very sad. I don't know if it is the political stress of Europe or what the problem is. I can't recommend this. Good thing I bought it on sale.

I've always wondered what makes a premium title like this (15.49$ CDN) worth the money. I have to say, there is nothing at all in this game that provides that value. The Game is under 3 hours including the bonus game and the story merely name-drops book titles to appear literary but provides no substance whatsoever in that regard. The artwork and voice acting are decent but both the main and bonus game have abrupt and unsatisfying endings. Only buy this game on deep discount and, even then, don't expect much for your money.
