A weak thumbs up for this Kairosoft game the offers a descent diversion brought short by intentional design decisions. The game is much like the 500 other games made by the developer, where the player slowly improves the airport adding custom flourishes that make it your own design. It is a Sid Meier's game lite that is impossible to fail but there are ways to make play through's easier.
The positives is the game is forgiving in airport setup so long as basic amenities are there for the sims. It fun to see them run around interacting with the various shops. There is a fair amount of lite-hearted meta humor that help whittle away the hours improving your air base.
The main issue its IAP phone app roots causing the game to display popups blocking idle progression. It is irritating when the game has a popup every few minutes with meaningless content. Late game it is a big issue. It makes it hard to have fun customizing the sandbox or completing the various mini-quests.
