This game is just really unpolished. The ideas in the game are ok (I guess, it's a bit confusing understanding what was the direction the game wanted to go in), but there's so many small things that pile onto each other that just makes this game not fun.
When switching between areas, you don't come from the same side, so if you go left, you can enter from the top. This is annoying, especially as it is easy to lose your character due to how small they are. To make this worse, enemies can spawn basically on top of you, so you can't avoid damage heading your way, and if you could, you don't know where you are!
The level up screen is jarring, and power ups I collected from previous runs I still had access to in my next, while still being "level 1". I also died to a projectile from an enemy while in the level up screen, as it pauses you and the enemies, but not projectiles.
I do not recommend the game in this state, maybe if these things are ironed out.

To Lua Ludica.
Great rogue-like game is really fun.
And likes it very easy to gamble a round.
I have some tips for your game (you don't have to pay attention to them, but I would be happy)
My problem was that I kept getting stuck on the trees or even spawned in the group of trees when I changed the stage and couldn't move.
Suggestions for improvement:
- Better graphics for the ability cards
- The achievements have some problems got some without having bought them
- I can also no longer unlock new pets (could only buy two)
- Also it would be good that during rounds his stats vary depending on what skills you pick up
But otherwise awesome game

Honestly, for a 2 quid game it's not bad (I got it on offer in the UK, I realise it's about $5) but there's a lot of little details which I genuinely can't recommend this game because of. The fact that when you clear a map and walk left, you can spawn ANYWHERE else on the screen during the next map generation step. Or that you could spawn on a map with no upper or lower exit/entrance so if you've entered from the top it makes no sense. It takes you time to search for your little character sprite and that take away from the fun.
Another thing is the audio clips for the weapons, mostly fine but if you get a beam upgrade it becomes both the most overpowered thing you own (barring it's inability to shoot over any terrain) and the most annoying to use. The SFX for it is actually really quite grating. But don't worry, it won't go away when you die!
As of when I'm writing this, certain power-ups seem to be persistent through death and I'm 85% sure it's a bug. And I'm not sure I ever want to use the wand ever again because that beam upgrade WON'T LEAVE so I have to feel my ears being sawn off EACH TIME I USE IT.
Again, for a first game it's not bad, but I feel like there's a lack of care present for this game.
There's a few more criticisms but steam has a character limit so I'll try list of the good things. The variety of weapons is nice, some of them don't really have much of a feel to them but I like the different styles of gameplay it's trying to go for. Pets are a nice touch, having a bunch do different things is again flawed but in a overall positive way. Metaprogression could do with a bit of clarification, but it's generally quite nice. Certain differing elite enemies have differing patterns too so I'd love to see more of that but with all the different enemy types rather then select ones.
I would be absolutely interested to see what this studio comes out with in the future, but I hope that they might do a bit more playtesting before releasing future projects.
