Kaiser is a pretty interesting and fun early access game so far. The bullet hell tag is deserved from my short experience and living up to both it and the action roguelike one, since it is a pretty challenging one to start off, then gets increasingly more easier when you have a ton of artefacts to help you out, I'm not kidding, dying at that stage is near impossible, till you initially get bored, after winning and continuing, and try to intentionally die or just see how long you can last for. There is no tutorial yet, you gotta learn as you play and it's pretty easy to do so. There are 2 different "item" types you can accuire from slain enemies: Character/minions and artefacts. Former one can be added to the hotbar next to your character's icon and they help you fight, but can die easily if you're not careful, and whatever they had on them goes with them too. Latter one can be aplied to your character and minions which all can help in certain different ways, like one gives shield, other gives health, another gives power and so on and so forth. Only the artefacts can be stacked however, minions come in a set amount and if you want more, you have to add the same type into another slot on the hotbar. At later parts as the game progresses, if you try to add more minions, they might get killed pretty quickly if not prepared beforehand with some artefacts collected for the occasion. I had a pretty fun scenario happen to me, got ping-pong-ed inbetween a ton of enemies as the bull/buffalo and flew across the map, which was pretty funny honestly and made me chuckle, it didn't really pose a problem, since I could get back into destroying the enemy after stopping a few miles away. Don't know if it's a bug or intentional, since enemies do push you away, but don't mind it. With that said, I ran into max 2 bugs so far, which is what I mentioned above, so not sure with that, and one where towards the end of a game, I cannot add anymore minions to the hotbar, even though their item dissapeared. This however seems to be a visual bug, since I see the specific minions running away to fight for me after summoned, just can't see their icon or give em any items. Overall, pretty good, definetelly in need of some more work, but that's as expected, but for the price it is on atm, it is worth it. You can even edit what sprite you want to use for specific things, which is always a nice little thing in a game.
