Nice little campaign on the African front.

A good DLC that is kinda short but worth the price. Drop a few bombs on Rommel for me.

If you can snatch this up during a sale, it's definitely worth it. This DLC adds several new missions to play over (you guessed it) the sands of Africa. It is already implemented into the game so you don't have to run anything else other than the base game. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for achievements or just itching for more combat in the skies.

if you liked dogfight 1942 some more missions for 4 bucks is a good deal i guess this dlc would have been great if it had fixed the landing in the main game i mean by god sometimes it's impossible to know if your gonna land or just crash all my deaths ware landing related on bloody believable tally ho and all that being said this expension adds a few fun missions in the desert.

I strongly recommend to buy the pack of the base game and both DLC campaigns. 6 missions from the Siege of Tobruk to the Second Battle of the Alamein. A nice touch is that you have an australian and a frenh pilot as comrades.

Dogfight 1942: Fire Over Africa is a DLC for Dogfight 1942, developed and published by CI Games, and released in October 2012. The DLC adds a new campaign and setting, planes characters, and sound track. [h1] [b] Campaign [/b] [/h1] You play as Peter Haynes, a pilot in the U.K. Royal Air Force, who is sent to the African Theatre to support the Allies operations in Libya, Egypt, and Malta. The story is quite fun. I do not recall playing a WW2 game that never focused on Malta and the importance of the Allies halting re-supplying attempts by the Germans for North Africa; which I appreciate in this campaign. As noted in my review of Dogfight 1942, CI Games excelled in creating characters that have personalities, have accurate accents, and are well voice-acted, and I think the same applies to this DLC. For a small DLC, there are fully-voiced cutscenes. This DLC does not feel like an afterthought, rather as an extension to the base game. [h1] [b] Conclusion [/b] [/h1] I highly recommend Dogfight 1942: Fire Over Africa for those that enjoyed the base game. I bought it for $1.35, and completed the campaign in 50 minutes. Six well made missions. The banter between pilots is well done. What do you get with an Australian, French and Scottish pilot all together? Panther Wing its a great DLC
