Superb visuals, short and sweet, and absolutely nails the essence of liminality: no monsters, no cheesy jumpscares, nothing but you and a serene environment to take in, explore, and ponder at your own pace. A fantastically executed iteration of the genre. If you detest walking simulators, then this probably isn't for you. If you're looking for an abstract, liminal experience that doesn't fall into the overdone horror trope, then look no further. This game is very much worth its affordable price tag, and I'll be watching the dev for their next project!

I always love a liminal space game where there are no aggressive entities, rather a game that relies on uncomfortable atmosphere to create a sense of horror. This is more of a linear walking sim than a true backrooms liminal space game. Very hard to get truly lost. The Sprint feature is more of a regularly paced walk, the standard Walk is a slow stroll. For the sake of a beginner friendly introduction to backrooms, this is great. But for someone wanting a true experience of the sub-genre, I would pass this game up.

i really want to like it more but after playing several other liminal games, this one lacks visual interest and (most importantly) save points and toggle run. its mostly walking slowly through empty rooms that you'd 100% see in a fever dream or some glitched reality. a wide variety of uniquely themed rooms you don't see elsewhere, but i feel like nothing particularly memorable or cool stands out. i'm discouraged from exploring so many places after 40+ minutes of gameplay because i don't want to spend several minutes slowly walking to a dead end then have to backtrack another several minutes. PROS • very dreamlike • interesting variety of rooms • good music CONS • desperately needs a save function and toggle run • walking and running are painfully slow • going up or down steps slows you to a halt
