You were the fastest wheelman on the street. You were a legend. You were money. Until they set you up and sent you down. Twenty-eight years inside for someone else's crime. Now you're getting out. Guess what? You got a new job, it's called getting revenge.

just a fun game to play if you see it on sale. its not perfect my any means but the driving and open world is quite fun. unfortunately any missions that have you on foot aren't any good because the shooting and walking controls are lack luster at best. It has a lot of good and some Really bad. But hell the soundtrack and the vibe alone is worth it.

Its a decently fun game I would recommend getting it while it is on sale. You can also use a controller you just have to go into the settings and activate it because controllers are not automatically recognized. The music is also good. 7/10

I came back to this game trying to look at it through an adults perspective rather than the 8 years old boy who used to play the heck out of it on the PS2, what i found? Amazing soundtrack, Story, personality and design that stood the test of time, the driving is great, dare i say the best this saga has ever seen, the shooting not so much but gladly the game focuses more on the driving aspect for the majority of the game, pick it up on sale and revive your glory days.
In case you have never played the game, give it a try, it´s totally worth it alone for the amazing New York recreation that they did both for 1976 as for 2006, the city is detailed, the car customization great and you will truly feel like a Ryan Gosling-sorta type wheelman, vehicles and speed are your primary weapon, you can also do tricks to lure enemies into traps or collitions, just go and grab it!

Driver: Parallel Lines feels like two games in one package, with two different eras and two distinct story lines. One of the standout features I really liked about this game.
Highly recommended to get it on sale.

Great game, just didn’t work well with my steam deck. Couldn’t configure controls, works better with keyboard and mouse.

Cool game. Very open and the theme is amazing. It reminds you of Driv3r so well but it just upgrades it to playing in 2 different timelines.

Works great on steamdeck after configuring community controller + Downloading the ultra wide mod & the ‘Restore original vehicle camera positions’
This is the underrated Driver game. It answers the age old question of “what if GTA cops got on you for violating traffic laws” and the enemy AI is really well scaled. They’ll remember your person and/or your car depending on what they have seen you do. This is a step up from Driv3r and doesn’t have the same motion sickness issues that Vice City does, but some occasional flashes can be bothersome
This game would probably have been delisted, but they removed some of the soundtrack of songs with expired rights. Its really easy to get these back on to the game “for an original experience,” hopefully they bring the other Driver game back

is an absolute gem that continues to impress, even years after its original release. As a fan of classic driving games, I was beyond excited to revisit this thrilling open-world action game, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations!
From the very start, the game captures your attention with its engaging story, set in the vibrant city of New York, across two different time periods—1978 and 2006. The narrative is captivating, full of twists and turns, and keeps you hooked throughout your journey. The dual timeline is a unique feature that adds layers to the plot, making it an unforgettable experience.
The driving mechanics are smooth, precise, and incredibly satisfying. Whether you're zooming through crowded streets, engaging in high-speed chases, or executing jaw-dropping stunts, Driver® Parallel Lines delivers an exciting ride every time. The variety of vehicles is impressive, and the open-world environment allows for endless exploration and fun.
What really stands out about this game is the level of detail in both the world-building and the soundtrack. The city feels alive, with pedestrians bustling about, cars whizzing by, and every corner offering something new to discover. The soundtrack, which perfectly complements the '70s vibe, brings a sense of nostalgia and energy that keeps you immersed in the game.
Despite being a bit older, Driver® Parallel Lines still holds up remarkably well, offering a fun, action-packed experience that never gets old. The combination of exciting driving, engaging missions, and memorable characters makes it a standout title that any fan of the genre will enjoy.
Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the series, this game is a must-play. The timeless appeal of Driver® Parallel Lines proves that great gameplay never goes out of style!
I really love the Drivers game and I hope that one day I can buy Driver 3 on steam!
10/10 !
