Fun and adorable
This is a short but very sweet visual novel about two witches on a journey of self-discovery and relationships. It is a story of friendship, love, and sacrifice. It stars a cast of cute characters with nice art. The extras that take place after the main story add a little closure to the story of the characters and help flesh out the world. My time to fully complete this game is about 90 minutes, including the arcade game. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with this game, and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a fun adorable read.

Cute visual novel about two girls (one grumpy, one sunshine) going on an adventure together, seeking some important potion ingredients. This game is short enough to enjoy the story and its extra cutscenes in one sitting. I appreciate the LGTBQ and chronic pain representation, and the music is great, too!

A potion for Chamomile is a very short LGBT+ friendly visual novel. It follows a local potion brewer, that is on a journey with her customer, to collect all of the ingredients for special brew.
The story itself is simple and to the point. Characters exposition is lacking and is missing the depth. Most of them, seem to be cookie cutter type of protagonist, however I still found this game enjoyable. The humour, that is intertwined in the events is enjoyable. Something that might cause few chuckles or smiles. It’s dripping with the cuteness, so if you look for another “Strawberry vinegar” alike, then it might be worth a buck. I feel that, the fact that this VN is short is advantage for it, because the cuteness doesn’t become “too much”, like I complained about with “Strawberry vinegar”.
The art style like the most of the story is simplistic, but cute and at points charming. It’s one of the most enjoyable parts of the VN. It’s very basic, but taking into consideration that it’s very cheap game and that, it was developed by basically one person, I can appreciate it.
What caught my attention the most is the background music, which was very well made and fitted to the story. Some of those songs could be added to my playlist.
Besides the main story, the game offers few cute slice of life scenarios, that you can read through after finishing the main part. It’s pleasant add in that is worth reading.
Rating this story is a struggle for me, because I feel like I can recommend it, taking into consideration the points that I brought up earlier, but I am not sure what would be the proper grade for it. I feel like getting it rating close to “Detective School club” would be unjust to the latter. I think that proper rating is R:54/100

It's very cute and wholesome with a good amount of humor. It's a short sweet little visual novel that can be finished in about an hour. My wife and I read through it together and we both loved it.
