Love the original, but this shit doesn´t literally work. Couldn´t get past the prologue because it didn´t want to load. Please fix it. Right now I do not recommend, but after they fix it it´s a great game.

Waited till a big discount and was totally worth it. I watched only gameplays of this game when it came out on PS4 10 years ago. And now, I see why it was a great game, it is a super low pace horror story with truly good voice actors and animations, sometimes can be a little overwhelm on their expressions, but still worth it. This game is locked at 60fps and luckily fully supports 31:9 aspect ratio 1440p. Thank god Nvidia has x4 Frame Generation, and because everything is so slow, combined with full advantage of the DualSense controller, it's just a smooth great experience at 240fps. 8/10 They should allow you to just run all the time when you finished a single playthrough, otherwise this becomes boring and you start to catch up that this game is truly slow.

Guess what, if you can't create a playstation account, because "Error happened, try again", after answering 100500 stupid questions and solving puzzles, you can't play the game.

Until Dawn is one of the best video game and horror experiences i have ever experienced. I love the story it tells and its use of the butterfly effect meaning every choice you make in the game has consequences that could lead to theirs or another characters deaths. without going into spoilers, the game tells the story of a group of people returning to a mountain lodge 1 year after a tragic accident and then finding themselves having to try and survive Until Dawn. The game does an amazing job with the world building of the mountain with the history of the mines that are on the mountain, its history with the Washington family and the native american culture and history. The game also gives amazing set peices to go along with it and looks beautiful. The characters are also really well done too and include some actors such as such as Rami Malek, Hayden Panettiere, Nichole Sakura, Bret Dalton and Peter Stormare. This however is a remaster of the original Until Dawn on the PS4 and some changes were made. changes that im not particularly a huge fan of. First the opening song 'Out of the Shadows' and credits that happen after the prologue are nowhere near as good as 'Oh Death' from the original. Second. The game adds sunlight at the start of the game when everyone is going up the mountain to meet up. Its nothing big, just a nitpick but i personally liked the lack of sunlight in the original. Third. This game expects you to be playing with a Playstation controller. The button layout is the playstation one with Circle, Square, X and Triangle. which can mess you up with that X if you aren't careful. Also one of the biggest aspects is the games moments where you have to stay still. If you are using a Playstation controller, you would have motion control and it would be tense moments, but since i don't have one and have a plug in controller, Meaning i could move the controller as much as i want and i would still pass the 'dont move' moments. Which sucks because i do like the tense-ness of those moments even if it does kill someone for failing it. Overall this was a good port of one of my favourite story games ever. I didn't have any performance issues at all. I just think there was a few changes that bring it down compared to the original and for the best experience, you would have to spend an extra £60-£70 for a Playstation 5 controller when they could have just worked around the 'Don't move' section with something else like skill checks and gave us more controller button layouts. However that didn't stop me form enjoying this amazing game and its amazing story. 8.5/10

LMFAO 60$ in 2025 for a game from 2015... even 40$ is way to expensive for this. 19.99$ is a fair price for this old remastered turd.

It's okay. But YOU SHOULD PLAY WITH THE KERMIT MOD to double your enjoyment. Is it worth $70? Haha no. Is it worth $40? Eh. The 35-year-old teenager protagonists are generally dumb, unlikable and two-dimensional, the plot telegraphs like a locomotive, the gameplay is negligible, the characters steer agonisingly slow and tanky, but I guess there's a lot going on, it looks okay enough and it'll keep you out of trouble for several hours.

Look I watched all the OG lets-players play Until Dawn when it first came out, when I was a tween I played on it on the PS4. When I saw that an updated version released I was hesitant to buy it, first it was (and still is) 60 dollars, which is to me OUTRAGEOUS for a game that has been around for the last decade. Second of all, I kinda have a shitty computer, it's a 2022 Dell whatever and it doesn't have a top of the line graphics card, but this piece of junk has ran every other single game I own flawlessly. (even cyberpunk 2077 which iykyk) So when I spent 60 dollars on this the other night I was really excited, pure nostalgia coursing through my veins. But when I finished the prologue, watched the credits, watched the bus scene (which is super long) and finished the therapy session I was stuck on a loading screen, a LONG loading screen. After 15 minutes I restarted my computer, did everything again.. same long ass loading screen. Okay. took a break, I mean this was a sixty dollar game no need to crash out at the first issue right? Tried it again, same. loading. screen. restarted my computer and validated the files, played through the whole beginning again, and this time I waited 30 MINUTES and nothing ever happened. I gave up. Don't be like me. Don't spend 60 dollars on a game that is littered with bugs. But this game is beautiful! An awesome story, with complex characters and great monsters! I just recommend playing it on a console. Side Note: As someone who gets fake nails A LOT the stand still movements were really difficult and i feel like it didn't translate well to PC.

The game is filled with bugs. I got four hours into the game and a bug randomly prevented me form making any fucking progress, and reloading wont fix it so im permanently stuck. Youll constantly have to restart the game from the very beginning and just pray a bug doesnt ruin your entire fucking run. I spent 60 dollars on this game and its too late to refund it. I want to cut myself I just wasted so much money and I want to cry and scream and bash my head into a wall

The story is both very difficult and easy. I've been playing for 8 hours, and a horrific ghost is being made. Anyway, I'm lighting a candle in the darkness. I can actually protect my friends. I won't leave them alone. See you in the final very soon. Rating ; 9.3 / 10
