Great Tomb Game. Like the weapons, the enemies have different attacks, traps are great, art is very nice. Upgrades are great. I think this is my first Roguelite game not used to starting again when you die but levels load in different so it was fun.

Ok big update messed up a lot for me using the Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop. I cannot get rid of the movement blinker or whatever it is called. I cannot turn around like I used to be able to. This needs to have a setting for standing or sitting as now I am about 8 feet tall. All in all it used to be fun in the early days (I paid for it) but now it is broken. Would love to know how to control this now.

Overall fun game, feels very much like a Rogue like should. As others said it has a ton of potential and pretty good for the price range although good, it does feel like a game that would have been released in 2016. controls are like Arizona sunshine, but graphics are a little worse.

It's kind of rough. The developers obviously thought that going to the settings in the game is not necessary. You're wrong, it is. The turn is retarded, as if the hero is a drug addict. In the end, the game glitched in the heat of the battle: when the crowds of enemies came from all sides, the turn became even more slow, and I was teleported into the thick of the enemies, which killed me. Control is obviously not the strongest side of the developers. Refund, of course.

It seems like 99% of games that are released over the last couple of years have been rogue-likes and/or multi-player focused...and I don't care for either! My username is Lonewolf26 because that is how I like to play my games...by myself, and I'm really sick of the rogue-like genre. However, despite my rant, every now and then I stumble upon an exception. Last year I became addicted to Cosmodread, and recently I have become hooked on The Secret Pyramid! While I would probably rather it were a campaign based game, something about this game has actually allowed me to look past the fact that it is a rogue-like. The graphics are good, the setting is cool, I like the weapons, the game play is fun, and while mummies are very similar to zombies...it's still not the same, played out zombies plot of the 1,000's of zombie shooters out there. While it may not be as good as Serious Sam, as another reviewer posted previously, this game still has replayability for me.

Game is ok, no story or campaign. Shooting mechanics and weapons are good but I’ve gotten stuck on objects numerous times and then I die. Not sure if guns you purchase are permanently available or only until you die. Big downside is if you finish a level and reach the camp and need to leave and run errands or something, there is no save option even when completing a level. So you’re essentially punished for having to leave the game. Wish they could fix that. No need to punish the player for outside circumstances.

This is such a huge hidden gem. The game play is really fun with some nice weapons, upgrades and random “dungeons”. The graphics are well down and the sound is impressive. There is some jank when going down elevators but nothing game breaking. Get it on sale. It is worth it.

Fun game! Its a simple arcade type shooter. I had a blast dual wielding guns and unloading at mummies. Great detail in the all the creatures! It was just fun. What else can you ask for? ( Except more content - hint hint) Sound effects are great and keep you on your toes and aware! Yes its a little buggy. Mobs get stuck in door ways, walk thru floors oddly, stairs/steps don't even register. They just kinda float up the stairs. In the last area's floating isles? Whenever the creatures "spawn" to rush you, the game lags out really bad. Its only those area's. When you're in panic mode trying to back up, its easy to get snagged on stuff. The scorpion pyramid area was horrible about that. All of these are pretty minor though. Can't wait for more content! I think you should have some of those Anubis statues (or any statues) randomly come alive and chase you. Keep the player on their toes! Keep up the good work!
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my gameplay here: https://youtu.be/CwcdqmP1jf8 I played the free demo. I liked the demo so much that I decided to buy the game. It's only $6 USD so my expectations were pretty low. I was pleasantly surprised, but at the same time, this game does have several issues. First of all, it's in Early Access and it does feel like an Early Access game. There's jank all around. It's not the best optimized game either. On my RTX 3080, I was getting mostly 90 fps, but I also had a few severe frame rate drops (I saw it go down as low as 30 fps momentarily). However, it is playable and like I said, for the most part, it was running at 90 fps. It's a roguelite FPS arcade arena shooter. You're going against mostly mummies (plus some other surprises). Towards the latter part of the game, there's even some traps you have to avoid. The different mummies behave differently. You have different weapons to try out. After each run, you can upgrade your skills to make subsequent runs easier. However, if you beat the game, the tomb resets & enemies get more difficult. I did beat the game in 30 minutes, however, I had played the demo for about an hour (your progress is saved from the demo). You can keep playing for the tougher enemies or to try out different weapons. Game is running on the Unity Engine. You do have full locomotion & snap turning available, along with teleportation. There are sadly no graphical settings or sound settings. However, you can play the game comfortably seated (there is sit or stand mode). Most of the interactions are of the point & click variety outside of the shooting. Rate 7/10. For the price, it's a nice game & a nice start to Early Access. I think I already got my money's worth. This has potential to be a lot better with lots of polish & more content.
If you enjoyed my review, please consider joining my Steam Curator Group. This is pretty good. It's one of those genuinely fun games to play. Don't have to be too serious, but it's a challenge. Has a lot of potential. As it is, it's better than most games in its price range and more. Lives up to the rouge-like / looter shooter label, bit clunky with walls / occasionally getting snagged on a wall for a second but generally the movement is good. Top job with the scorpions as well, they really stand out, very cool.
