I have no idea what is going on vs the AI. Stuff is happening quickly and then it stops and I am asked to roll dice, then stuff happens quickly... A tutorial mode would be helpful.

I've read the rulebook and the game looks solid. Shame it lacks basic QoL features like full screen (!) or pause the enemy turn to see what's going on.

This is not a good game. Most if not all of my plays have been ended by lockups and crashes. The road system rules are broken. On the first turn. the AI German is able to move the 1SS as far west as it was able to reach in the historic battle. German units reached the outskirts of St Vith and Bastogne, and a single German HQ even makes it all the way to the Meuse River. This is the way it goes every time I play against the German AI. As the German I am entirely unable to come even close to matching the results of the German AI. On the other side, The American AI is awful. The 82nd and 101st never make it into the battle, in most cases they don't even cross the Meuse River. Patton's advance from the south is, well not much of an advance at all. This is simply not a good game. It's almost unplayable, has a seriously unintuitive sequence of play, with no sign whatsoever that it was seriously play-tested. Unfortunately for me I wrangled with it for too long to get a refund. Oh, BTW. The counters and map are really nicely done.
