It's like amnesia minus literally everything amnesia has and instead replaced with some horde thing idk I've never finished amnesia

Not awful, it's just not much of a game. One map, no achievements, nothing to unlock... Once you've played it for a couple minutes you've pretty much seen everything there is to see.
