Amanda the Adventurer was cool. I really liked it on my Steam Deck. It looks cool too. 2 looks cool. When will 3 be released?

One second I was getting hit in the 90s nostalgia with a cartoony cursor and cute puzzles and then a sheep was being lobotomised. This is a rollercoaster and a good one at that.

This is certainly a game I played that one time! My favourite part is how well it has gameplay and the other essential elements that go into creating a game, like game design! the game has characters, and it certainly has a story! and all of those things make it a video game!

not great, not terrible. would be more helpful with hints or an optional guidance system, as the gameplay and pacing is a little confusing if you're going into the game blind. however, the puzzles themselves were just the right amount of challenging; enough to make you really think, but not enough to make you rage quit. all in all, i wouldn't necessarily play it again, but it was fun! as i said above, i wouldn't recommend going into this game without researching it first.

Great game with a good storyline, altho my game always crashed about 5-7 minutes into each playthrough

Incredibly overhyped once all the buzz about it died down. Not fun to play if you see playthroughs about it beforehand. Interesting story behind it, but other than the real-life filmed sections, very boring.

super fun,, rlly recommend if u like puzzles n kinda scary games w/ lore. bought the 2nd game after beating this one to see if the 1st would be enjoyable-- n i only bought this one bc watching others play it n the og edition (the pilot i believe it was renamed to) n this one was fun!! my little sister even joined in,, and we beat it in ~4 hours total. achievements are relatively easy to get once u get the hang of it n have a general idea of what ur doing,, same w obtaining the secret tapes!!

This is a perfect starting horror game. The lore is considerably deep, you can 100% it in about 4 hours, and it comes with four endings, and a few secret tapes. It's very unassuming (as is the trend with analogue-horror), and isn't cheap with it's jumpscares. The puzzles do require you to pay attention to the tapes. You can't mindlessly progress through the game, but the clues do make sense; instead of being hard for the sake of it, they help you understand more about the story. If you want to explore the horror genre, this is the perfect first game. It's reasonably priced, and it's not intense nightmare fuel like FNAF, Poppy Playtime, or the Backrooms, but... stand back when you solve the EAS puzzle at the petting zoo.

One of the biggest reasons I like Amanda the Adventurer is that it doesn't have intense jumpscares. I hate being startled. The game, however, still succeeds in being scary, which I enjoy. Good puzzles, fun characters, All around, I like it!

It was a really REALLY short game, taking me just over 3 hours to 100% complete it, Though it was really fun when I was playing, Probably not worth the price unless its on sale but if you have some extra money then go ahead.
