There are bugs and issues related to items and this is the reason I can not recommend this game.
On the items page, for instance, the last row of items have the items covered by what should be the background, so you can not see the items' effects.
Multiple times, when you finish a puzzle you can miss out on items if you happened to level up, having to replay the puzzle.
if you are hunting for all the in-game items, you should be prepared to spend a lot of time redoing puzzles.

The art is decent.
The game play consists mainly of rotating puzzle-pieces (that are all entirely square) to restore the image.
The abilities are nice, especially if you only have a couple of pieces left. They range from auto-solving a couple of squares to highlighting squares that are not rotated correctly.
