All the outfits from this DLC is reference to other Martial Arts movies and provide different buffs that is also a reference to the movies they reference. Such as extended slowing of time when Quick-Time Events occur or having increased resistances when being attacked in melee.

Sleeping Dogs: Movie Masters Pack is DLC for Sleeping Dogs which unlocks three new costumes, each based off kung-fu movie outfits. Each contains a minor buff, with the bronze statue arguably having the strongest buff available via costume in-game, with significant reduction in damage taken in hand-to-hand combat. I'll admit I'm primarily recommending this one because I mostly played with the bronze statue because the concept of a statue coming to life and going through the whole game amused me greatly, for no particular reason. That being said, this is absolutely cosmetic DLC, and the usual rules should apply: if you have no interest in the cosmetic changes, don't worry yourself.
